Not Florence Nightingale
Maria had heard about the battle on the island of Atlantis and heard Superboy had been hurt. News traveled rather quickly in the cape community, not to mention Terry was a member of the YJLA. Maria had to admit that she was a little worried. For Jon because he was hurt and the fact that something had seriously hurt him in the first place.

Still he was one of the few friends Maria had in this crazy world and she would pay him a visit to make sure he was going to be okay. Maybe to get him to smile too. The boy definitely needed to smile more.

She made a stop or two before going to visit him.

"Usually people say I'm more devilsent, but I will take that for today," she said as she entered the room. "I'm not Florence Nightingale, but I'll do my best."

She sat the bag down on a table next to his bed. She pulled the bacon cheeseburger with all the fixings out and unwrapped it. It was followed by fries and ketchup and a bottle of water. "What do you want first? Food or kisses for those boo-boos?" she teased.

	He smirks, at least making an effort to keep up with her without blushing too much. Can't let her think she's got too much of an advantage - and surprise her now and then. Playing with fire? Ok, maybe. "I do indeed." he agrees sensibly, managing to keep from blushing too hard, now that he can apply some Kent logic to the situation. "But until you do, you're going to keep holding that over my head as a weapon at every opportunity... I know, Petra has been working that angle for years."

Thankfully, somewhat easy to ignore. He's not any more attracted to her than he is any of the others he grew up around.

"So, if you really want to see me blush that badly, I won't look away if you decide to play naked nurse."

Not that he'd take it any further - though he's sure she may try and find ways to keep pushing his comfort zone - and, admittedly, its kind of fun as long as he's sure enough of himself, despite past experiences, to make sure to know where to end it.

"A number of them. We have video of the first scene... invisible, totally. Doesn't show up on IR, UV, to any super senses, technology... not many things or people are that good. Second, the attack is magical, powerful magic at that. My mother is working on leads from her end. We don't know a lot of the people involved in the attack on Atlantis either, so that's slowing things down. We do know, from other stuff around the time it first showed up, LexCorp had major budgeting for some new weapon though."

"I'll take another look. Not that I think they missed something, just I think differently than they do. I mean first of all I know what humor is."

She stole a fry and popped it in her mouth.

"I have some information for regarding the Gotham/Metropolis thing. But you're not getting it until you get better."
