Not Florence Nightingale
Maria had heard about the battle on the island of Atlantis and heard Superboy had been hurt. News traveled rather quickly in the cape community, not to mention Terry was a member of the YJLA. Maria had to admit that she was a little worried. For Jon because he was hurt and the fact that something had seriously hurt him in the first place.

Still he was one of the few friends Maria had in this crazy world and she would pay him a visit to make sure he was going to be okay. Maybe to get him to smile too. The boy definitely needed to smile more.

She made a stop or two before going to visit him.

"Gotcha," she said. "Tell her while I appreciate the offer, I'm quite capable of getting into situations where I need rescuing on my own. I even had proof." She held up her right arm that was still in a cast.
