Playing House.
GK loved having Eli over. He admittedly spoiled the guy a bit, what with the cooking and the massages and certain other things. And he tried not to seem too neurotic about putting Piglet back whenever Eli accidentally knocked him over, or reaching to sort the laundry a little differently than Eli was doing it.

And it was a lovely time, but eventually. "Eli? We need to talk."

"It's perfectly understandable," GK says, his face going into full puppy-eyes mode. "I know I don't know anything about going through stuff like that, but...if you're ever going to be comfortable with life here, really comfortable, beyond-the-day-to-day, you're going to need to think about this stuff without seeming like you're reliving it and ending up talking to that guy of yours."

	A few minutes later, when the dishes are done, GK comes out. It might be a little obvious that he's still worried, but he's trying not to be. He sits down by Eli. "...Ever had seasoned cucumber spears?" Food's a safe place to start, right? (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
