Putting it Together.
GK Walker had a list.

He went out on his Volunteer Work nights with the world's greatest pitcher/markswoman.
His beautiful disaster of a boyfriend had wings and a magic sword.
He once went on half a date with a charming transubstantiator hero brat.
His uncle knew this telepathic gorilla.

Can you say Citywide Vigilante Club, boys and girls?

Zoe was the place to start, of course.

"So," he said as they rendezvoused for the evening. "I have this idea."

"Yeah, they are. I went to school with some of them," Zoe said.

GK knows what Zoe said is logically to be expected, but he hadn't realized that that was probably so before. Maybe it was because jackasses at his school had all gone to major in business and minor in drinking at Ivy League schools. Different approach.

He looks to Orgo. "Vipers in this context refers to one of the major Triangle gangs. Normally, when they have one of their major Occasions, there's not that much we can do about it. Too many of them. But if we organize a bit, we could see how well we end up handling them."

"So ya want us to beat 'em up?" Joey asked, looking around. "Oughta be pretty easy."

"Easy?" Zoe looked at Joey like he was a little crazy, or just out of touch. "It's not enough to beat them up. They have to be exterminated. If we don't do it right, they'll hurt people because they have to save face."

"You mean as in kill them?" Eli asks. He tears a bit of bread roll into pieces.

"We shouldn't have to necessarily go that far. Just do waht it takes o take them down, unconscious or restrained long enough for the very, very, very long time it will take the police to get there."

Joey gave Zoe a shrug. "Look. He's a talkin' 800 pound gorilla, he's an angel, I'm pretty dang super, I know GK here can fight like crazy, and I'm guessin' you can too. So against a buncha norms? Sure. Easy."

Orgo interjects a moment. "Do these Vipers have special ordinance of some kind? Or some other factor that makes them particularly dangerous?"

"Aside from their total lack of any social skills, no, not particularly dangerous. They're just willing to sell drugs to school children, put kids out on the street to hook for them, and they'll kill anybody who gets in their way."

Zoe glanced at them and wondered if any of them really knew how /bad/ bad could get in the Triangle. Eli maybe, but the others seemed pretty sheltered in one way or another. The gangs didn't play by hero/villain rules. "Kill them? They need it, but we don't have the kind of reputation that will keep us from the consequences. Deadshot did, about fifteen years ago. Slaughtered the gangs and it was quiet for a long time before they crept back in. But, I think GK is right. Together we can do more to damage their business and make it harder for them to keep it up. Maybe then the cops will take notice and finally do something useful."

GK smiles. "Don't get me wrong, Orgo; it's great that it takes special ordnance to be a problem for you three, but I for one have an absolutely useless metagene, so a regular gun'd do just fine if they managed."

GK's happy Zoe's getting some confidence in the plan. "So what're we going to need to keep in mind?"

"You can't kill gangs," Eli says agreeing with Zoe. "They're like roaches. I don't even know if you could stop them."

He pauses thoughtfully. "Put a kink in it sure. Figure out where they're getting their supplies and hit that. If you don't have any drugs, you can't sell them."

Though Eli may be tempted to take some for himself.
