Heather still couldn't believe the article in the Tribune's Arts and Entertainment section. "Local artist Heather Collins... first gallery... works entirely in crystal... metahuman art scene... gallery opens tonight... guest list is expected to include Cynthia Lord, daughter of... famous escape artist and charity advocate Avia Free... local celebrity actor..."

She took a couple of deep breaths, despite the fact that the action did precious little other than to circulate some air through her crystaline body. She was definitely going to have to call her parents after this. Opal wasn't exactly in the same broadcast range as Chicago, but... well, it was a city with a pretty strong interest in the arts. Something like this might make it into the news cycle.

She couldn't blame Cindy for setting this up. The thought of people coming to see something she'd created had already done wonders for her self confidence. And Cindy, being the person that she was with the connections that she had, had been more than good at getting some publicity, and had been good for inviting those nice Justice League people, even if they were coming in their secret identities.

Another deep breath, and Heather left the back room, heading back out into the gallery itself. There were seven large statues in the show, representing the Entities. There were smaller statues too, of varying sizes, mostly of fantasy figures, though one marked "Raging Goddess" was a special commission that was already carrying a "sold" tag. Not her first paid project, but certainly the one she'd been paid the most for. Quite the satisfied customer there.

"Alright," she said, checking her watch. "Twenty minutes to open."

	Finally! Michael managed to get some free time to take Ash out again and lucky for him Cindy had something going on. He saw Cindy a bit after the whole "Is now kinda tied to the Orange" situation, but she has found herself a great team. So he's hoping to see her and have a good time with his kinda-sorta-maybe-girlfriend. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	She is already excited by this. To her everything looks really pretty and it's far different from anything she has ever seen. Of course even glass art to her is very different. She's also happy that she and Michael are finally getting to do something else again. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She has gotten used to the idea that his hand will always end up on her hip. She isn't quite used to how they always end up really close like this but it's still nice. "This looks familiar," she comments still trying to place where she may have seen something like it. She hasn't looked at the card that has the name of the piece just yet. 	"Maybe because it's more geometric because of it being made from crystal," Ash offers up. "I know that coral stuff tends to be more jagged looking compared to things you find up here. "Well...no, I mean I hope not. I really don't think you need to worry about that." But given our luck...

Ending up as the hosts for the entities out of...well, a lot of people? He didn't trust the odds were ever much in their favour. "Besides, you have other things to worry about. Like greeting all your fans and potential customers!" He gives her an enthusiastic thumbs up, "You ready?"

Avia was always glad for a chance to spend time with Will, and the opportunity to see Cindy again was always a welcome one as well. She'd dug in her closet for appropriate formal wear, though she'd also braided a couple of flowers into her hair, because well, that was part of her whole look, after all.

Lenny had been running a little late..mostly because he had nobody to drive him. And then he had to be shown where the handicap-entrance was. He could almost hear the bird-lady saying "all will be well", but he didn't feel like listening to her. He was still a little perturbed that he could only go blue at certain moments. Being able to walk only a short time..was a bitter pill to swallow at times.
