Night on the town
He had mentioned wanting to spend a night out with her. Something a little nicer and he planned on taking her dancing too. He had other things in mind but he wasn't going to say anything about that.

He had kept a few things close to his chest so to speak and really didn't want to say why he still had a slightly healing bruise on the underside of his jaw still. He wasn't going to say why until after he actually did propose. She'd probably yell a bit at him for going to meet her parents without him but he knew she couldn't be too upset. Or wouldn't.

He's nervous. He checks to see if his tie is still straight while he waits for Cat. He really better not screw this up.

	Cat looks over the list, picking out one of the better ones in her opinion. She wasn't exactly classy, but she could order beer in about thirty languages and was pretty dang good at figuring out which ones were good. "...I'm thinkin' I could live here." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He relaxes again when their drinks come. Beer for a beer hound like him is an excellent thing. He also is very pleased with the excellent steaks this place has to offer.

He likes his meat.

So he orders something that sounds good. He is glad that once their orders are placed this place is very prompt.

Except it keeps him from getting nervous again. Drat. He just loves being nervous.

Before another word could be exchanged between them, the entire entrance of the restaurant suddenly exploded, debris flying from a burst of green flame. A hand made or rock with green flamelike energy coursing between the cracks crept into the building, followed by a massive rocklike giant. Its footsteps caused the ground to shake as it scanned the room with an intelligence in its eyes.

	Despite seemingly being thwarted, the monster looked decidingly nonplussed. "Running is not an option." Then without warning the monster's body split into pieces. Every part was now a flaming rock floating in the air. And then..they began to fly speedily all over the restaurant. Everything in their path caught on fire. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
