Wow, had that ever been awkward. Did Maria have a crush on Jon? Alina tends to assume that most people have at least a little bit of a crush on Jon because why wouldn't you have a crush on Jon? But she hadn't thought that a quick smooch and -- okay, maybe the lap-hopping had been a bit much, but it was pretty PG for a lap-hopping.

"You guys all sign up for multiple songs already, or have I got time to slip one in there?"

Distraction, yes. Probably less useful when she's still sitting in Jon's lap, but getting up and moving at this point would be pretty obvious.

Also, his lap is super-comfy.

	Of course it was pretty PG. She's with Jon. Quick smooches and all, sure, but he's not exactly going to be making out in public. He just sticks with Coke to drink. No surprise there either. 	Alina just laughs and shakes her head at Maria. She also hams it up for the audience -- while she's not anywhere near as good a singer as it turns out Jon is, she at least makes sure that the audience can tell she's having a good time. 	Thomas would say damned kryptonians for other things they can cheat at, singing is by far the least of them. He claps in encouragement too (what? He could be nice) while sipping one of Maria's drinks in between. Important thing about this karaoke was that while he was sulking, at least his bar tab was covered. Still, it was fun to swipe her stuff despite that. (Reply to this)(Parent)
