The Return of Kid Amazo
Cait decided to spend a day or two at the cottage before heading back to San Francisco. She needed a day or two to decompress after spending the past week in Atlantis. Dealing with Arthur was always stressful, this time being no different. Amnesty Bay was the perfect place to decompress and get some peace and quiet.

She walked out of the ocean and pulled the water out of her clothes and hair. She headed for the small cottage at the base of the lighthouse. She opened the door, stepped inside and never saw the blow. Pain spiked at the back of her neck and the world went dark.

"Bring her," a male voice said and a figure stepped out of the shadows. The man next to him picked up Cait's inert body and threw it over a shoulder. The two men left the small cottage.

"Lots, actually," Joey said. "See, the thing is, people think I'm a dumbass. They're only half right. I'm totally an ass. But I ain't dumb."

He flicked his thumb and forefinger together as flint, starting a spark.

"See, while you've been focusin' on the the flares, I'm been turnin' bits of me into, and filling up the ground by you with propane gas."

He tossed a fireball low, by Gizmo's feet.

"Boom, baby."

	Gizmo had little time to think. He curled up to let the gas explode over him, holding his breath as long as he could. He added another name to the list of people that had to die. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Extra Crispy got to his feet, his hands moving over the gadget he held. His hair and clothing smoked. "Little harder to get rid of than you thought, jerk face." He raised the gadget and shot flame at Joey. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	As he got closer, Joey's body morphed, forming a dome around him. A face appeared on one of the walls, and it began to fill with carbon dioxide. "Okay, asshole, one, that really hurt. Two, never shoot a guy in the head when he's an undifferentiated mass. And three, I'm replacing your oxygen with carbon dioxide." (Reply to this)(Parent)
