So This is What We've Got To Work With, Huh?
The man known only as the Elusive Man sits in his chair on the other side of the holographic relay projector, his features wreathed in shadow except for two glowing emerald green eyes. He watches young Cyrus navigate the controls of the Cerberus Ship Normandy II and admires the fact that the kid can handle it. That was good. After two billions credits worth of technological developments and upgrades, someone had best be able to fly that ship.

"Cyrus, you'll be under Urdrex's command while you two are recruiting the rest of the team. Don't take any unnecessary chances, you two. Find the people in the dossiers and get them to Omega as soon as possible; we don't have time to waste. Another colony has just been hit and if we don't do something about this soon, the rest of the universe is in a lot of trouble.

Are we clear?" the shadowed figure asks, sitting back in his chair.

	"Hey, namin' conventions for other races ain't my area of expertise." Urdrex says, checking out his rifle and cocking it once. "Well, as long as she don't try givin' me orders, I got no problem with her. Her brother's supposed to be a prince. "Mine either. I know ships," he says with a shrug. Then runs his fingers over the interface he hooked himself into much earlier.

"They speak to me after all. This one is a little new for my tastes. But at least it doesn't have a mouthy AI." He frowns up at Urdex.

"Really? If you don't mind me asking, how did you get picked for this? I know how I got picked. I was stranded and desperate." And getting hungry. He now had a job and his ship to go back to after this job was done if they didn't need him.

"I'm the Elusive Man's bodyguard. I needed help, he gave it to me without blinkin'. Now, if he wants somethin' from the bowels o' hell, all he's gotta tell me is who's holdin' on to it, and I'll get it for him." Urdrex says.

The pair are notified that the ship is coming upon Earth, and Urdrex stares.

"Huh. It's pretty, for bein' all colorful, I guess." he says, a little awe in his voice.

"He's a great man, Cyrus. He does what need to be done to get the job done. He intimidates a lot of people, but he'll help you in a pinch. The eyes are kinda crazy, though." Urdrex says.

"You'll only ever see him that way; there are people out there who'd love to shut him down, so he's got to stay elusive. He doesn't do face-to-face except for extreme cases.

Here's the plan: You keep us in orbit and I'll go find this girl. I get her, we come back, and then we head to Ungara. We good?" he asks.

	He nods. He would rather not set foot on Earth. He thinks he would be tempted to stay put. "Be careful. Earth can be weird for people not native to it." Cyrus says with a nod. "I'll start plotting a course for us. Got a few ideas on how to cut the time down." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Oh hell. "Negative on that commander. Earth doesn't have a spaceport. Lots and lots of bars. But no spaceports. Earth doesn't have hyper drives," Cyrus says slowly. 	Urdrex just blinks at Cyrus for a moment. "No hyper-drives? Why would you just stay on one planet when the Universe is so big? How can you not have spaceports? I mean, I guess it saves on the Eezo for your repulsor cars, but damn it's a harsh way to live." he says. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"We don't have any of that Urdex. At least they don't. I'm from an alternate universe. Did some checking on this Earth. They're.... primitive. They use combustion engines for crying out loud. 	"Ugh." Urdrex says in disgust. "Just get us into the atmosphere and hit the stealth stuff. I'm gonna go to the shuttle, find a place to park and find a tavern in...St. Roach.
