Happy Birthday! (open to Titans)
Despite all the stuff she had been going through, Cait didn't forget Ty's birthday. Cait knew he didn't want anything, he never did, but he was still going to get a gift and a party. Well, at least cake and a small celebration with the Titans.

Cait had been saving for his birthday gift since Christmas. She had something in mind, but like almost everything it would take some saving up to get it for him. Her job paid well enough, but they did have to eat and help contribute to the daily living expenses of the Titans. Mom's birthday gift to her had helped a lot and Cait knew she'd be able to get Ty the best laptop on the market.

When the day arrived, Cait made sure there was cake and candles and she made sure the Titans knew about the party. No decorations though. Cait knew low key was the way to go with Ty.

Cait went to go get the birthday boy and bring him to the party.

Iris brought the most important thing to the birthday party (well, second most important, after Ty).

The Cake.

She'd also saved up enough money to buy to buy him a decent printer, and a decent supply of ink and paper. She'd made sure that she was getting him the right kind of printer for his computer before buying it. It set her back a little, but Ty was worth it. Also awesome.

She set it next to Cait's gift and waited for her to come down with Ty.

	Party! Dinah's gift appeared to only be a small box, but it contained a flash drive with numerous pieces of software she'd written herself, including a web browser, plus an offer of "free" tech support on the laptop. She waited with the others. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Thankfully, Ty isn't hard to fetch. A word over their link from Cait and he freezes his current experiment where its at, and heads downstairs. He wasn't expecting anything, but the sight of people gathered, and the cake, and the rest are definitely a pleasant surprise. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Steve had managed to buy Ty supplies for his computer and printer: audio CDs and DVD+R CDs (4.7 GB of storage/120 minutes), regular paper and laminated photo paper, and CD sleeves. He'd had a little help from the family, of course. But it seemed all of the Titans were coordinating very well.

The presents from Steve were obvious by their green wrapping paper and purple birthday card.

	Vic didn’t know Ty to well but his dad had always taught him birthdays were special and had made cookies. Including some computer themed sugar cookies to keep with the theme of the rest of the gifts. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Mitzi rushes in late, having had to deal with an...issue at home. Of course, she also has to tell Cait tonight that she has to leave and go back home, but she wants to at least see her friend again before leaving.

"Um, hey all. Sorry, I'm late." Mitzi says, moving forward to pass an envelope to Ty.

"I know it's not much, but I tried to find a card you might like." she says, stepping back. She knows most of them don't like her, and she doesn't want to start any trouble.

Cait laughed. "Yeah, she is."

Cait kissed him and smiled. When she was alone with him she could forget all the other things that were weighing on her mind. Mera. Arthur. Atlantis.

There were times when she wondered if all the things that were happening were some sort of test. Even if it were, she knew she would get through it as long as she had Ty at her side.

"Mother seemed to have a good time," Cait said.

"It could be nice having our own place again," Cait mused. "And also not be so dependent on the Titans." She shrugged. Her job paid enough to contribute to their living expenses, but it wasn't enough to find a place for the two of them.

"We've been together almost two years and I've never seen you visit your mom or at least call her and talk to her. Don't you ever want to see her or at least talk to her?"
