Welcome to Omega

Urdrex checks his weapon again and watches from his position next to Cyrus as the ship pulls into the fire red planet that is Omega. Urdrex has been here a thousand times, and somehow, the place never becomes any more pleasant. In fact, it really only seems to get worse. He'd rather not take the kids, but the Elusive Man wants to see all of them at once, all together.

He will call everyone to the Normandy's War Room while Cyrus getting the ship docked and ready to go.

"Okay, listen up. Some of you may not have been here before, so you need to know some things. First, keep the young ones, Cyrus and Mar'i, in sight at all times. Especially Mar'i. In fact, you'd do well to watch out, too, Katima. There are slavers here who wouldn't mind tryin' to capture and sell all of you off to harems on planets that make this one seem like a resort." Urdrex says, checking his weapons for the seventh time in two minutes. Anyone who knows him knows that this is the equivalent of him pacing the floors nervously.

"Go to the bar, ask for Aria, get into the Holosuite, and listen to the Elusive Man. Again, if you see a Green Lantern, do /not/ attract its attention. You see a Blue Lantern, do /not/ attract its attention.

Anybody got any questions before you move out?" he asks.

"You make a fair point, Miss Strange. I could easily do such a thing, but I hope you'll all come to see the necessity of us working together." Elusive Man says, watching them each in turn.

"Therefore, I propose a deal. Right now, you will all decide who will receive the information they came here looking for. Cyrus, your ship is already repaired, by the way.

One of you will receive the information I promised. Next, you complete the mission I have for you. After that, the next person will receive their own information, and so on and so forth, until you all have what you came for." he says, emerald green eyes scanning the room.

"This way, I cannot contract you all longer than you wish to be contracted, and I still receive a return on the investment I'm making. I can't help but think this benefits everyone." he concludes.

And now he had them. Alerron could walk out of here now, taking Katima and Mar'i with him, but they would forfeit the knowledge they all seek. Worse still, Alerron and Mar'i would have to wait for Natand'r to come up with a cure for their parents, and there was no guarantee that would happen in the near future.

It angers him to be beholden to anyone, and moreso it angers him to see anyone upset Katima or Mar'i. Still, they are each bound by his decision, and he makes the only choice he feels he can make.

"Very well, Elusive Man. I and mine will hear you out, and we will continue from there. You give us the information we seek, and we will aid you until we have what we came for. I cannot speak for Miss Strange or Cyrus, but...I wish to cure my parents.

For now, we have an accord." Alerron says.

	Cyrus looks surprised. His ship is already fixed? He has a strong urge to just go back to his ship and wrap himself in the familiar feeling of how the Phoenix Rising runs. "There is a planet in Sector 1592 called Iagos. It is a tropic world, but the atomosphere is toxic to oxygen breathers. A plan that can poison and drive out the Black Mercy can be found there, but it must properly formulated. I should warn you also that said planet is a base of operations for the Black Sun mercenaries. Many of them are Turians and can breathe in that atmosphere just fine.

Three weeks ago, the Black Suns kidnapped the last prince of Xanshi from a Cerberus safehouse on Mondego. I have reason to believe that they may have taken the boy there. They've already made contact and are demanding a ransom for the young man." Elusive Man says.

"The issue with the Reavers is pressing, but if you choose to go after this cure now, I understand. Once you have it, take it to Vergara, in Sector 1121 and they will process it for you. If you would look into the whereabouts of the boy, while you are there, I would be willing to release the next piece of information to you." he finishes.

	"I agree with you, Aleea. We should go after the cure. Mar'i and Alerron deserve the peace of knowing their family will be well again." 	Cyrus bites his lower lip. He would love to point out they have a medical bay but he doesn't know if that would be enough if the boy was hurt planet side. He also thinks his opinion won't count. He's a pilot not a fighter, really. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"I think we should get back to the ship to make plans. This place is starting to give me the creeps and I'm not fully certain we're safe here considering that our host was making off-book demands of my beloved. We can best decide what our plans and our strengths are going to be for this particular mission. For what it's worth, both Alerron and I were trained in strategy on Okara."

"Mar'i, we will not let them hurt the boy if he is there. We will find a way to free him and obtain the cure. Cyrus, you know the ship best, yes, but I will also need you when we arrive on the planet. You possess something invaluable that will aid us with the boy." Alerron tells them, considering what he knows of everyone thus far.

He then turns to Katima and kisses her on the nose.

"My love, I need you to lock away your anger and uncertainty. We will need you to aid us on the surface of Iagos...besides, you are cute when you frown, but much more beautiful when you smile." he says.

"The information you need will be waiting for you upon the ship. Aria's request will not be overly taxing. In fact, you'll all be doing the universe a great service by fulfilling it.

Aleea, I'm still going to require that information on the Thanagarian conflict from you before you leave. It's...imperative that I understand what occurred." he says.

	He blinks at the guy who has so obviously become the leader of this group. It's not the Elusive Man either. He has no idea what to think about being needed and nods lightly. "Okay.
