Oceanus
Oceanus, Titan and once ruler of the oceans, rose from the waters of the North Sea close to the Faroe Islands. He looked at the large monstrosity of a LexOil oil drilling platform rising out of the water. These mortals had the nerve to poison his oceans. Oceanus would show them what happened to insolent beings who dared to poison Gaea with their technology.

Oceanus summoned the power of the ocean itself as he moved toward the platform.

	Oceanus is clearly annoyed. The rain and little running man don't bother him so much, but the green fists needed to go. He slapped his hands together to send a powerful shockwave out and knock back every one of the tiny humans, and then willed the ocean to birth a great wave. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Petra pales (and that's saying something for her) as the water starts surging. They're out of their league here. Time to prioritize.

She calls out to the others. "Kid Flash! Get ready for evac! I'll lay you out a path! Everyone else, grab who you can or lay down cover fire or defensive walls!" She plunges her arms back into the water, forming a tunnel of ice stretching from the base of the oil rig towards shore.

Oh, crap.

Michael flies down towards the red-head that had called out, turning his attention to the huge wave coming in. He notices that the wave, while large, still isn't quite far from the big thing.

A quandary, little man.

"Oh, now you say something! Help!"

Michael, that wave will do a lot of damage, unless something takes the energy away. Possibly an explosion to break the wave and possibly cover your friends escape?

"What can make that much water explode?"

Caesium

"Red, if I pass out because of this, make sure I don't get stomped on by big and ugly there," Michael calls as he pulls as much power as he can.

Caesium. Atomic number 55. Atomic weight...

The water that had been pulled up had now become a large amount of silvery metal that begins to smoke in the air. as the mass of smoking silvery compound hits the water, however, things get explosive.

Huge amounts of smoke and fire erupt where the wave had been. But Michael does not see this. Unconscious, he dived down onto the ice.

	Dex was thrown back by the shockwave and landed in the water. He surfaced and took the air just in time for the wave to explode. He was pushed back into the water by the force of the water. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Kid Flash thinks he's just a step ahead of things, racing down the Titan's leg toward Petra's path at top speed. He's running, faster and faster, but the smoke and waves cause him to hesitate momentarily in his run. That proves to be a mistake. Jai loses his balances and falls into the water, his speed working against him as it drives him beneath the waves. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Oh for the love of..." Petra swears as she takes a breath and then dives beneath the waves. She doesn't need to worry about the cold, but she can't stay down forever.

First priority, someone else who can help with the rescue efforts. She makes a bowl of ice underneath Dex, then swings it around to scoop up Mo as well, pushing them towards the surface.

She can barely see Jai, but she needs to get closer. Letting out a fraction of her breath to keep her lungs from bursting, she paddles toward him.

When Michael finally claws his way back to consciousness, his head is spinning and he's cold. He painfully pulls himself up and looks around.

And he saw his grand plan to slow down the big thing didn't do shit.

"Da-shiong bao-jah-shr duh la doo-tze!"

Michael looks around, trying to ignore the aching in his extremities and pulls himself to his feet.

"Where is everyone?"

	Mo chokes and coughs as she surfaces, her focus restored she is able use her ring to propel herself out of the water again, careful to move back a bit as she catches her breath. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Petra will catch up to Jai, but he's dead weight at the moment. He hit his head on a piece of ice when he fell into the water. Chances are that she can get him to the surface, but he's out of this fight. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Jai won't be dead weight for long.

When Mo surfaced, Michael put two and two together and dived, separating the water molecules into a bubble of oxygen and gaseous air around him.

It hurts like hell, but Michael isn't going to stop until they are all safe.

Michael makes it to Petra and Jai, where he extends the orb to accommodate the two.

"We just got our ass handed to us," Michael says severely.

Jai took in a lot of water in just a few minutes. He lies motionless for what seems like eternity as Traya and Michael work to revive him.

Then there's one wet cough, followed by another, and another...until Jai is forcibly expelling the water from his system.

His chest and lungs ache nearly as much as he head does, but he's alive. He tries to speak between coughs, but it doesn't exactly work out.

"Someonegetthenumberof...that bus?" asks, looking around.
