Intangible Predator
From the green, the kid's unseen adversary silently watches the assembled heroes.  He wasn't expecting any of them to be able to come at him through the green, let alone turn into a giant Dinosaur.  It's a fascinating turn of events, and he has every intention of sitting back and watching safely.

Ty has lost the ability to speak, lost in the transformation. He grows rapidly, turning into a tyrannosaurus - a purple one, but definitely not Barney-like and definitely not friendly.

The tail sweeps about, demolishing a stand of trees into splinters, much more easily than even that monster should be able to do, faster too.

It's amazing how de-sensitized one can get in a job like this. Even the sight of one of her friends turning into a dinosaur isn't shocking, and the fact that Ty's first swing downs an Oak tree only makes Lian's eyes widen. Then Speedy notices the tail reverse its course, and does the only thing she can.

"IRIS!" Speedy yells, letting herself go limp. If Iris hears her and reacts in time, the limpness will keep Lian from dislocating anything when Kid Flash zips her out of the way. If she doesn't, Lian knows that she's staring at her own death.

Iris's eyes nearly bluge out of her head, as she watches Ty destroy everything in his wake.

And she then hears Lian cry out. In an instant, Iris zips over to her, grabbing Lian firmly by the waist, running them to safety.

THE HELL? Where's Fishy-Girl when you need her?! Cait would chill Ty out, but Teddy's got no time to think about resources that are unavailable.

He flies into the air, flitting about in front of Ty-Rex's face to distract him from the others. Teddy really doesn't want to hit a teammate, no matter if he's flipped or not. "Cerdian! Do something!"

Too fast to see the transition, Lian is suddenly looking at the battlefield from a low tree branch. The after-image of Ty's tail swinging less than a foot from her face is still burned into her mind, though, and try though she might she can't put the single, simple thought out of her head.

That almost... I could have been... I just almost...

Lian clutches the side of the tree, eyes wide behind her mask as she forces herself to calm down.

At the moment, he's not really seeing the world for what it is, lost in a haze of bestial mind, only vague memories flitting at the back of his mind.
This does keep him from using any more complex powers, but he's still plenty fast enough, chomping at the gnat flitting before him.

Cerdian moves to one side, guarding his flank, but not moving threateningly towards him.

"Flank him!" he orders, pointing Traya towards his other side. "Contain him, but don't threaten him!"

Cerdian doesn't need to tell Teddy twice.

Star swears as he rolls, mid-air, out of the way of large, deadly, snapping teeth. His body mists up out of reflex and fear, but he coalesces behind Ty-Rex.

The flanking maneuver works, to a degree. With multiple targets, and suddenly threats - not doing much to him, but perceived threats nonetheless, the T-Rex pauses, and then tilts its head curiously at the sound of Iris' voice.

Why is that chirping sound so familiar?

"C'mon Ty," Iris says, as if she's cheering him on, "You can do it! Just focus! This isn't you. Just...try and remember who you are, okay?" She gives him a small smile, as if to reassure the rampaging T-Rex in front of her.

The tactic has an interesting effect. Ty doesn't need to breathe, he can survive in space as easily as Black Adam - but he does so out of habit and simply preferring it. When the air is gone, first it draws a pause, then he snaps towards the nearest target angrily.

Then another pause. There's that chirping again. He'd roar to drown it out, get rid of the distractions and just go for dinner, but he does need air to do that.

He lowers his giant head, trying to fix one reptillian eye on Iris.

Jeannie is just trying to stay out of the way. Her friends have seen far more combat than she likely ever will, but she wants to help. Then she realizes she can. If she can siphon off whatever is affecting Ty, then he'll probably stop being a dinosaur! ...Maybe.

"I can help him!" she tells Cerdian, intent on waiting for a chance to duck closer to the threat. "Take away, wipe the bad?"

He seems somewhat caught at the moment. The attacks aren't doing more than confusing and occasionally angering him. There is a brain in there somewhere though, if a confused one.
With her contact with the green, Jeannie can also see that there's definitely something in the environment influencing his current state and helping along this manifestation.

Lian hops down from her tree branch, her bow held in front of her. She circles around to cover an empty flank as she nocks a tazer arrow. The arrow is rated to lay out a polar bear, but Lian has to seriously question how much damage it'll do to Ty.

"Okay, so we've got him contained and holding still for a moment," Lian says with a glance at Cerdian. "What do we do now?"

Ty roars, hearing the confusing sounds all around, the chirping distant enough to no longer hold his attention.

T-Rex is not meant for burst of supersonic speed, so its a unique sight that the kids get treated to, or subjected to, to see that level of mass and strength going into a blur, a shockwave and sonic boom emanating out from where he stood only a moment ago, rushing at Lian and Iris, trees going catapulting out all directions as he crashes through them.

Thank God for the trees. If it wasn't for them, Ty would literally have eaten them before Lian could fire. Instead he's still ten feet away when she looses the arrow, and a generous five feet away when the arrow and Ty meet. On impact the arrow delivers a payload of electricity sufficient to knock down a full-grown bull elephant, and Lian realizes at that moment that she has no idea what, if anything, this is going to do against Kid freaking Amazo.

And now we're back to 'Iris saves me or I'm liquefied' territory.

The primary effect of the arrow is getting Ty's attention. He isn't using Zoom's powers, but Black Adam's speed lets him keep them something like in sight, until he's more or less isolated with Iris and Lian, unless the speedster gets the archer out of the way.
