Schemes and Things
Having been either bested in battle or otherwise coerced by the members of Injustice Unlimited into cooperating and then teleported away, the Justice Society members would find themselves behind a mystical barrier in an otherwise largely featureless dungeon. Those who had been caught out of costume had been magically dressed with their uniform and all their equipment.

Also imprisoned, separate from the Society members, were the various hostages the villains had taken. The Dugan family. Abby Bronson. Joan Garrick. Molly Scott. Sinon Tavoularis. Belle and Danette Tyler. Cynthia Lord.

The Wizard entered the room, looking rather pleased with himself.

"So," he said, with the air of one quite used to theatrics, "I suppose you're wondering why I've called you all here."

	Barbara was still out from her shock and his Dad wouldn’t leave her and was very pissed off something that did not happen often and was never a good thing. 	Patty stayed with her mom and dad. She had on the cosmic converter belt that she had managed to steal again impressively. 	For once in her life Nic was remarkably quiet and still. Something about the mystical barrier seemed...familiar to her. While everyone else was railing or threatening or glaring, she was looking curiously at the space in front of her, going so far as to sniff at it. She was starting to get ideas. Rex, for his part, makes an attempt at listening. This chump /didn't/ beat Mark; at best, he caught him with his pants down and got in a lucky shot.

Warhawk knows his team can handle "Injustice Unlimited".

"What kind of Mickey Mouse organization calls itself Injustice Unlimited?" he asks himself.

When he hears his sister speak, Rex looks at her.

"What's up, Pnnt?" he asks.

If it weren’t for their given situation Mikey probably would have laughed at what this guy had just said. No way he beats Dr. Fate in a fair fight. Plus Mikey didn’t even have his full gear during that fight and neither did dad plus Courtney hadn’t been around.

“Injustice Unlimited, you mean like those assholes that fought Infinity inc back when they were around,” Mikey said. They had manage to actually out maneuver and kill Uncle Sylvester if this group was capable of that same type of planning maybe he was underestimating this group.

	"They are serious though," Mark says out loud. He was still bothered he had been caught in such a compromising position. Almost nude with a tooth brush. This was worse. While Rex kept the creep engaged Nic got down to business. She stretched her wings out to their full span so that she could connect herself to the length of the barrier then wrapped both of her hands around her mace. Stepping forward, she walked right into the barrier and almost immediately it reacted. There was a cracking noise, like a strong electrical shock. Nic's wings stiffened and she had to fight to keep from wailing as the barrier reacted to the nth metal traces coursing through her body. Mercifully it was brief; a minute after stepping into the barrier Nic pushed through to the other side, the whole thing disabled.

"...beat them to paste," she murmured to her brother before charging forward.

	"Stop them! Stop them!" the Wizard yelled, calling out his team. With the barrier down, the other barrier was failing too, freeing his hostages. It was all going horribly wrong. (Reply to this)(Parent)
