With Great Power Comes... Shiny Faux Gold Belts, pt. 1
The Exiles disappear from the asteroid in the midst of massed armadas after the fight with Thanos, down two of their number. After the grandeur of space and sweeping cosmic nature of their last mission, its kind of a shock to the system to end up in a dusty parking lot outside a massive arena. Currently the place is empty, though signboards flash up some of the current events planned to take place there in the near future.
Just as pressing, of course, there's a couple new faces in their midst.

"The Tallus said that Bucky's home was resolved... he may have gotten to go home. Roxanne... is complicated. She died, when the gems resurrected everyone, she was with Johnny and no longer the Rider. So we get replacements. I just hope they're happy, wherever they are, and maybe the rest of us will get to go home someday. The Tallus also says our mission here is 'Go for the gold.'"

Dane is immediately wary of the new faces before them. The only person he knows is the man he met while with the Timebroker. Otherwise, the red haired woman looks vaguely familiar.

He removes his helmet and looks to each of the women in turn. He's got a few days of stubble on his face, but his gear is mostly intact.

"I am Dane Whitman, also called the Black Knight. I believe I am to be working with all of you to resolve the issues plaguing our homes?" he asks.

Sarah shrugs at Kev. "I don't know. I've had this thing for a while now, and I'm still no better at deciphering it. For the moment, we might want to take advantage of not immediately getting attacked, no dead bodies, no one around... chance to figure out our current tactical abilities and options. There's also a chance there's some kind of clue to the mission around here. We often get dropped somewhere at least vaguely useful."

He still could not feel Sersi near him. This troubled him deeply, though he hadn't had time to truly ruminate upon it. Kevin's comments, however, strike a chord in the Black Knight and his attention focuses sharply on the man.

"I assure you, good sir, that my sword does not contain demons. I destroy said creatures, and I despise them. Should I come across a...version of me that consorts with such beings, I'll make it my mission to cure said person of his folly." the Black Knight says coolly.
