I don't really need any more characters to not play.. but this is Istaqa. Who is hopefully not going to end up crazy or evil. He is a werewolf - born and raised - and is about to join town/city life. Which might make him insane. *facepalm*

But seriously. He was born and raised in the woods - he can control himself very well in wolf form. He's obviously strong and fit - possibly a little moreso than most. He's always been big on the rules and what's right and wrong. So it's a little amusing that his first time really defying the rules got him kicked out of his pack. ;) He doesn't like being alone in the forest, so he's going to take his first real steps into the wider world.

So.. I'll put a post up with him making his way into some public place. I'm happy for whoever to find/interact with him - wolf-haters and wolf-sympathisers alike. ;) Or LEOs if anyone would be interested in NPCing them. I'm assuming werewolves that have lived in the forest for forever are not marked, so he has that to look forward to in the near future too. If anyone would be interested in being involved in any of that - let me know!

It's Sara again.. with another slightly insane one. XD Aden is your resident pyro - whoo! Other than that.. she provides whatever services she can to the scum and villainy of Aylasia. :D Full scale arson is obviously her speciality - but she's also useful for smaller scale evidence disposal and the like. She's okay at healing - good if you don't want to go to the clinic for THAT'S OBVIOUSLY DODGY reasons and Morris makes you uncomfortable (or you're not privy to his services). Umm. She'll also run illegal goods, gather information, sex people up, etc. She's not 'exclusive' in her services and will work with almost anyone, from (dodgy) politicians to pirates! She has history with Ajax. (Someone had to.. and Isabelle doesn't need to see any more of him /ever/. Aden might bump into him for the first time in an insanely long time though. :O BUT DON'T TELL ANYONE.)

Uh, anyway. XD I don't know who else she'll know, really. Nina - her dad would probably work with Miles. (Though she doesn't see her dad.. ever. XD) But if anyone wants shit burnt.. she's your pyromaniac. :D

This is a concept that is used in another game I play in and it works really brilliantly. I posted about the basic concept in the journal if you want to read up and perhaps use this in the game. I plan on adding my own npcs later (but I really have to get back to studying for criminal justice).

To get the password and begin using the journal, you have to friend it (the password is in the flocked second post).

I plan on spiffying up the journal layout later as well, at the moment it's just basic and working.

Hello all.

I am back from the Lakes (I was on holiday if not very clear about it :) I will be tagging back my Isabelle threads and putting up a post for Miles to tag v shortly.

But I also wanted to introduce my new character. Atty is the cabin girl of the Vicious Barnacle and a bit of a lucky mascot. When the pirates arrive she'll be found all over the place, telling tales of the Captain's bravery, (some of which will be true,) and offering fortune telling for those who can spare a bit of coin.

She can only do fortuna magic which is a bit of a shame but she's more of a pirate than a mage so she doesn't care. She has no idea that this is because she's actually a prophet but actually neither do the other prophets just yet as she's been hidden. :)

Hello! Sara with another character - this is Aislin.

She is 7 and lives at the orphanage. She has just started attending Salem Academy. Aislin is a weaver and has been trying to weave dreams for about a year now - some attempts are more successful than others. She has a good imagination and thinks the world is a big, awesome place full of fun and adventure - so she tries to take people there in their dreams. She's only really weaved for the kids at the orphanage - it hasn't occurred to her to try any further. Though, now that she's at school and has new people - she's been trying daydreams so she can weave for them too (and since she's only around them during the day! It makes sense to her. ;)

This is Amaterasu (Ama for short). I have been playing her in Beyond (a bit older, a bit more crazy). But she fit perfectly into a storyline Ellie was interested in playing (in that she's loyal to Aries/Circe and she can also be Nix's weaving lifematch) so I'm going to be playing her over here as well (obviously younger and maybe a little less crazy).

She's a weaver and a shapeshifter and will probably be getting herself into all kinds of trouble. If you're interested to play with her or have any other plot ideas, you know I'm always up for it.

She's a vamp who lives on Isla Nuit; she shares an apartment with Amon and her cousin Imma. She's often found at Isla Partei. She doesn't have much of a moral compass. Once she was turned she decided to turn her dad as well (Hector Teufel as played by Christopher Walken).

For a vamp she's pretty crazy. She gets intense, especially if she doesn't get her way. We're up for all kinds of crazy plotting where Trix is concerned.

Kiri is an elf, one of the Lossehelin children. She's a debutante heiress who won't admit that she's seeking a simpler life. When she's not partying on Isla Partei or the hot spots in New Meridian, she's spending time on her newly purchased farm in Salem.

Kiri's met Evie C and Tearlag as part of her "meeting down to earth people" goal. If you (meaning Sass and Kirsty) would be interested I'd also like her to meet Isabelle and Morgan (who she'd invite over to the farm for some silly fun). She could also plot with anyone who seems like a "debutante" or anyone who hangs out on the club scene. I'd also be up for any other kind of random plotting.

Hello, everybody! Carol's housekeeping ended up sweeping me back into the game, a little bit dusty but no worse for wear.

To re-introduce myself, I'm Dani, and this is Calais. He's a Shifter with the slight problem of inadvertent gender reversal when his magic doesn't work as intended. We were around when Graves Hall was still on GJ, but a rocky and often internetless life has taken hold of me since then. Now, though, I have a deliciously quick FiOS connection, oodles of free time, and a burning desire to get my roleplay on.

I'm skimming back over the past couple months' threads to see where he can fit in, but if anyone wants to play with Calais, just whistle. You know how to whistle, don'tcha? You just go to AIM and hit up invented healing. xD

HELLO.

I am very excited to be here! I'm Sara and today I bring you Ajax. I do still have to update his journal with his bio - I sort of wrote his entire life history, so some major editing is in order before I put it up for you all to peruse. That said, I do hope for it to be up within the next 24 hours - so do check back. I can tell you a little bit about him here though. And I will!

Chances are your character will have heard of Ajax. He's a damn fine illusionst (no room for modesty here ;) and chooses to use his magic for entertainment purposes, for the most part. He's pretty well known for his performances - he still performs on the street for people, but will also do private shows and functions and things like that.. if people are into that sort of thing. He's a bit weird when it comes to friendships/relationships/acquaintances ..there are always people around, but they're not always the same people. He has a bit (and by a bit, I mean a lot) of an ego, so this can play a role in how long people hang around him and such. (I like history, so feel free to have your character love or hate.. or love to hate Ajax!) He has a few constants though. The one I'm going to mention is Mordego Winneby - he's a bit of a shady character and he's a constant because Ajax can be a bit of a shady character himself. I'll see how much I end up saying about that in his bio though, because I'm not sure what to say here. (If anybody is interested in playing the SOMEWHAT SHADY (actually, very shady) Mordego Winneby though.. that would be awesome. ;)

So, yes. I'm up for pretty much anything, so if you want your character to have known Ajax.. or want them to get to know Ajax.. or otherwise want to plot, feel free to contact me! Joey here with a new character! His name is Laurent and I thought I'd introduce him since he's in the log I just posted.

Not much is known about him (yet). What is known though, is that:
-He's a vampire
-The vampire that created him is responsible for killing the Waldemar parents
-He is on some sort of journey to find her (and has now asked Draven to join him on his "quest")

I don't plan on him and Draven finding her any time soon so they'll be around the New Meridian area SO if you want them to run into any of YOUR characters just tell me.

I used to be in a much better habit of introducing new characters right when I made them. I'm Carol. This is Circe. She has terrible timing since nanowrimo is about to start, but she insisted on going to the wedding reception. Sadly Circe's whole deal is amnesia and secrecy so I can't say very much about her (I'm hoping her secrets are as good as I think they are and I'm hoping I can keep them for more than a week). We'll see.

I'm Kirsty and I'm new as is Isabelle wildnymphwho I'm bringing in and you can read about here. To summarise she's a student who's good with water and experimenting and has come late to applying herself to magic and is slightly scattered. She's a bit of a mess and might be most often seen trailing mud, dripping water about the academy.

Because she has had a very varied path of study wandering from subject to subject any scholar or student is free to have met her or know her. She's very friendly if a little annoying on occasion and not easily put off.
