Just a Misunderstanding
Teleporting was always disconcerting and disorientating. One moment they were in Oklahoma and the next they were in New York City right outside of the Avengers mansion.

Tryggvi reared and pawed at the air. Svalin put a hand on his neck and tried to calm him down. "Easy! Calm down Tryggvi! Please."

A second after their arrival the alarm started sounding.

"But..." Her sword! Hey not fair! She splutters for a second in sock that bleeds into anger. Trickery is not well loved by her.

"We did not come here to fight," Aridis growls. "How dare thee presume to divine what is in our thoughts, knave!"

It doesn't hurt that Aridis knows it would take too long to restring her bow and let loose an arrow to teach this mortal a lesson. She should have listened to one of her friends and carried more than one blade.

"We...did not. Yon black armored one shot first. We are merely defending ourselves from you. If we were to stand down and talk things over...I am sure this is merely a mistake. Is this not the Avengers mansion? We are seeking allies, not foolish children who attack before listening,." she says with a sniff dismissing the fact they hadn't said who they were.

"The only one I would be worried about is mine brother. He is...head strong at best and like the one called Hulk at worst."

Sammy eyed her coolly. "You have the right place and you suck at calling ahead to warn us. But no one expects the enemy to call ahead. Your brother will get his ass drugged by me with something nasty if you don't find a way to calm him down."
