You're Tied Together With a Smile But You're Coming Undone (open)
Cait sat on the shore of the lake and looked out across the water. The temperature reached seventy and the sun was bright. Light danced on the water. Normally Cait would be out on the water, but today she was content to sit on a rock on the shore. Plus she was still adjusting to the change in her powers. She still had hydrokinesis, but it wasn't as strong as it had been. She still had the ability to turn into water. It was weird and she had only tried using it once since she returned to Xavier's.

She knew the other students didn't blame her for what she had done as Famine, but it didn't mean she felt any less guilty about it. She had destroyed numerous crops and villages around the world. People would go without food and some without homes because of her.

Tomorrow she'd go home to Nova Roma with her parents. Some time away and some TLC from Mom and Dad would go a long way. She wasn't sure what Corey was going to do, but she hoped he would go home too. Driving him crazy would make things seem more normal. Though she wasn't sure how normal things would be able to get, especially with her blue hair. She had Jenny try to change it back, but it didn't work.

Cait picked up a stone and skipped it out across the water.

	"It is," she said. "Thankfully we came to the States frequently so we grew up in two different cultures." Cait was quiet for a moment. "I'm going back to Nova Roma with my parents for awhile," she said. "Just to kind of regroup and get my head straightened out." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

“You could almost say I grew up with two different cultures too. It’s like the town I’m from is two different places between the summer and the winter, though definitely not quite as different as what you had.” After hearing what Cait says he goes quiet as well before saying understandingly, “I think I understand the feeling. When I first got my abilities I stayed home for a week to get my head around things. But your deal with some much more heavy stuff than that.”

	“Sure that sounds like fun. I don’t think I’ve ever left the country before and from what you have said about Nova Roma it sounds great.” Aaron pretended that he hadn’t heard her slip, she was blushing so much as it was he didn’t want to embarrass her any more but it was nice to know that she probably felt the same about him that he did about her.
