You're Tied Together With a Smile But You're Coming Undone (open)
Cait sat on the shore of the lake and looked out across the water. The temperature reached seventy and the sun was bright. Light danced on the water. Normally Cait would be out on the water, but today she was content to sit on a rock on the shore. Plus she was still adjusting to the change in her powers. She still had hydrokinesis, but it wasn't as strong as it had been. She still had the ability to turn into water. It was weird and she had only tried using it once since she returned to Xavier's.

She knew the other students didn't blame her for what she had done as Famine, but it didn't mean she felt any less guilty about it. She had destroyed numerous crops and villages around the world. People would go without food and some without homes because of her.

Tomorrow she'd go home to Nova Roma with her parents. Some time away and some TLC from Mom and Dad would go a long way. She wasn't sure what Corey was going to do, but she hoped he would go home too. Driving him crazy would make things seem more normal. Though she wasn't sure how normal things would be able to get, especially with her blue hair. She had Jenny try to change it back, but it didn't work.

Cait picked up a stone and skipped it out across the water.

	The stone stopped near the end of the skip and didn't sink. "Just seeing if I still could," Corey said in Latin. He didn't feel up to English. (Reply to this)(Thread)

Chris ambled up a few moments later, letting out a faintly depressed laugh. "Does everyone come here to think?" She'd been preparing to let herself drift for a bit, or go giant-sized and loll about in what would be shallows for her. Her acts once Apocalypse got hold of her might not have been as dramatic, but she was starting to have faint blood-tainted flashes that she'd rather not.

You don't put a guard beast in front of a citadel without testing it, after all.

She was in her catgirl form, still with the bits of bone-spur and extended fangs. She hadn't yet worked up the courage to try transforming back to fully human, although she didn't feel as though she couldn't.

	Chris sits down at the water's edge, dipping her feet and the end of her tail in. "How much do you guys remember?" She hesitates, tail swishing. "I don't know if you guys are ready to talk about it.. but I was wondering if... we could talk about... y'know, what we did. What was done to us. Before you go wherever." 	It was about that time that Aaron had driven them to the restaurant, a local Italian place. The restaurant wasn’t too crowded yet and Aaron was able to find a good parking spot. “Well here we are.” (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Dinner had gone quite well and dessert was awesome almost as good as his mom makes. But now Aaron had driven Cait and him back to the manor. The weather was still warm out and the sun was setting.
