"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Quinn screamed and sat up. It took him a few seconds to realize that it had been a dream. His breathing was quick and a little labored. Sweat beaded on his body and a chill passed over him from the cooler air.

What the bloody hell?

Quinn rubbed his face with both hands.

	Joe required a fraction of the sleep a normal human did, but he liked it anyway. So he was rather annoyed to be awoken by screaming. He tried, fitfully for a moment, to get back to sleep, but to no avail. He got up and poked his head into the hall. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

“Fecking alarm clock,” Casey muttered when the screaming woke him up. It took him sometime for his half asleep mind to go through the thinking processes to figure out that was not his alarm clock and it was someone screaming bloody murder which of course by then the screaming had stopped.

Casey got up and headed out into the hall to see if he could find out what was going on.

Quinn sat in the rec room in a lotus position on the floor. Candles burned around him and patterns were drawn on the floor with black powder. It would clean up easy later on when all of this was over.

His eyes were closed and he didn't move a muscle. Quinn was not at home in his body at the moment.

Seconds turned into minutes and the minutes turned into an hour.

Then his eyes snapped open and he unfolded his legs.

"He's there," he said without bothering to see if anyone else was in the room.

Leech was just glad the astralling had gone off without a hitch. He grinned at Joe. "We'll work on keeping a steady clean supply anyway."

He looks around to the others. "Obviously, there's not much point in my going along. Not much in terms of mutation or alien science you won't be bringing with you. But Art and I'll hold the fort back here, and if there's anything I can do, let me know."
