Hyborean Age: Battle
Svalin was up with the rising of the sun. She watched the sunrise from the abandoned house they had stayed in for the night. Battle was coming and she could never sleep the night before a battle. It wasn't nerves. It was anticipation for the coming fight. Today they would hunt down this Thulsa Doom and if they were lucky, Varnae as well.

The day would be clear and sunny and perfect for battle.

Svalin, needless to say, was looking forward to it. She wasn't sure about the other Avengers, but she sensed the anticipation from the redheaded woman warrior and the male warrior. He reminded her of her brother and it made her miss her siblings.

She should go check her equipment and weapons. There was a battle coming.

The climb up the pyramid to the altar at the top was disappointingly uneventful. Svalin was expecting something, but they reached the top nothing had happened. There was a stone table at the top and an archway behind it that led into a passageway lit by torches.

Svalin waited for the others to go before following them.

Charlie reached Svalin, his shield still at the ready. Nothing had happened...yet, but he'd been trained never to let his guard down for a second. And he didn't plan to anytime soon.

Ryan got up to the top of the pyramid. He had been keeping his eyes open for enemies but he hadn’t seen any and he had also been taking notes on the pyramid’s features in case they came in handy for later.
