Hyborean Age: Battle
Svalin was up with the rising of the sun. She watched the sunrise from the abandoned house they had stayed in for the night. Battle was coming and she could never sleep the night before a battle. It wasn't nerves. It was anticipation for the coming fight. Today they would hunt down this Thulsa Doom and if they were lucky, Varnae as well.

The day would be clear and sunny and perfect for battle.

Svalin, needless to say, was looking forward to it. She wasn't sure about the other Avengers, but she sensed the anticipation from the redheaded woman warrior and the male warrior. He reminded her of her brother and it made her miss her siblings.

She should go check her equipment and weapons. There was a battle coming.

Like Svalin, Charlie was also up at the crack of dawn. He'd slept on and off the night before, and if he wasn't careful, being tired was going to bite him in the ass later on. He didn't say anything to Svalin and just nodded, walking past her with his shield in hand.

He walked over to an empty section of the room. Like he did every morning when he first got up, he placed down his shield and started doing his daily routine of push-ups. Like always, the exercise would kick his brain into gear.

Ryan had slept rather well, the towel had made a great pillow and it had been a long day. The movement of the others woke him up and after a minute or two his mind was out of the wake up haze and almost fully awake. This was one of those mornings where he was glad he didn’t need coffee to wake up.

Ryan then went out and cut some tree branches down to whittling them into stakes with his knife for the up coming fight.

	Iason had stood guard. He doesn't sleep, usually, and he definitely doesn't want oracular visions clouding things at the moment. And they needed a sentry anyway. While the others prepare, he just hovers in the upper atmosphere, absorbing as much energy as he can ahead of the coming fight. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Eli also has no need of sleep, so he simply watched out for everyone from outside the abandoned house. He was ready to engage this Thulsa Doom as soon as soon as the group is ready. As people awaken, he greets them, waiting for the sunrise. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Vernique wished the abandoned house had indoor plumbing. She settled for wiping the sleep out of her eyes, brushing her hair, getting a drink, and stretching her legs arms and wings a bit in the air outside. 	The climb up the pyramid to the altar at the top was disappointingly uneventful. Svalin was expecting something, but they reached the top nothing had happened. There was a stone table at the top and an archway behind it that led into a passageway lit by torches. Svalin waited for the others to go before following them. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Iason leads the way in, blasting the ceiling over the guy with the staff. Not that he thinks it will take him out, but at least it forces him to deal with something else other than the deploying heroes while Iason rushes Varnae. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
