Hyborean Age: Battle
Svalin was up with the rising of the sun. She watched the sunrise from the abandoned house they had stayed in for the night. Battle was coming and she could never sleep the night before a battle. It wasn't nerves. It was anticipation for the coming fight. Today they would hunt down this Thulsa Doom and if they were lucky, Varnae as well.

The day would be clear and sunny and perfect for battle.

Svalin, needless to say, was looking forward to it. She wasn't sure about the other Avengers, but she sensed the anticipation from the redheaded woman warrior and the male warrior. He reminded her of her brother and it made her miss her siblings.

She should go check her equipment and weapons. There was a battle coming.

	Eli reaches out a hand and lifts a large slab of rock with his mind, then throws it at Thulsa Doom. "Get used to it, necromancer. You and yours will defile the dead no longer." he says. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Doom blasts the slab into dozens of little pieces with another blast of energy from the staff.

"Hmph, better men than you have said the same." Doom raises his palm towards Eli and it smolders with a violet flame. "You have some sorcery of your own I see. It won't help you." The purple flame shoots out towards Eli. It is a mind warping spell, designed to cause fear and confusion on its target.

"Varnae, Your hunger shall soon be satisfied with these sacrifices."

	Eli vanishes to avoid the blast, then appears next to Thulsa Doom. "Worse men than you have said the same." Eli says, calling the staff of a cultist to his hand, then swinging on Thulsa Doom. He intends to keep the necromancer's attention while the others disable the cultists and maybe move in to engage him as well. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The punch sends Varnae flying backwards when he lands he telepathically sends some of the vampires that had just joined the fight at Iason to give him time to get up and really start fighting and the rest he sends towards doom and his followers to help them with the others. 	He nods. "I will keep him occupied, but his strength exceeds my own. I can hurt him... but am not sure I can keep him down." There's no hurt pride, just an assessment of the enemy. Either way, he'll do his best. He lashes out with a concussive blast, clearing a path through the lesser vampires to let him rush Varnae again. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Eli," Conan calls. "Take his right side. I shall take his left. Together we will take him." Conan rushes through the ranks rending different cultists and vampires who get in his way apart as he makes his way up. He wants to put a stop to this. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Svalin let loose a loud yelled, grabbed her second sword and turned her attention toward the vampires. Two swords moved in unison to cut down the undead. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Eli nods, circling around to Thulsa Doom's right. A vampire rushes at Conan from behind and Eli freezes the vampire in place, then flings the bloodsucker across the room. "I am ready when you are, Conan." Eli says. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Thulsa Doom uses Eli's preoccupation with the vampire to charge his staff with energy and swing it at his back. "Minions, your master beckons you!" He shouts, rallying the cultists. He throws a red magic flare into the air which explodes, showering the area with dark energy which makes his followers even more bloodthirsty and violent. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Svalin yelled and attacked with more energy and enthusiasm. She spun and one sword cut a vampire in half and the other followed taking the head off a cultist. They tried to claw and pile on her, but she kept moving, knocking them back. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Eli pays for his momentary distraction as Doom's attack scores, ripping through his coat and managing to injure his skin beneath. The wound will heal, yes, but it's still moderately annoying. 	Ryan stops holding back now and really let’s loose on the vampires using his full deadly skill with knives moves smooth and fluid almost like a dance. Though he still works not to kill the cultists something in him just doesn’t feel right about kill people who could redeem themselves. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The vampires fall under the attacks of swords, knives and stun guns. The flow into the room seemed to have stopped. Only a handful were left along with four cultists. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Iason allows Varnae to grapple him, boosting his strength as much as he can to try and keep up with the elder vampire. He continues to radiate intense heat in close while he grapples, attempting to keep it in close enough to harm the vampire, but not anyone who might be able to take advantage of their situation, leaving Varnae as open as he can.
