Checkmate In Two

The building where the Kingpin currently was, was quiet. But too quiet as to seem like something was off. Most of the lights on the lower floors of the build were out and all of the doors were unlocked. Even more strange was something was jamming communication in the building.

	Abigail was not in any particular hurry to save the likes of Fisk. Law-breakers shouldn't be allowed to get away with flaunting the law the way he did. Leo could feel what had happened here not long ago like cold spots in the room. He made sure not to walk over those spots just in case they might trigger his powers. He didn’t like this situation at all. His powers had shown him what the Kingpin was capable of.

“Yeah we should keep moving,” Leo said, “Probably should keep an eye out for possible surprises too.”

	The smell was enough to overwhelm his senses, but training and practice kept him moving with the others. He heard the sounds of fighting from above clearly and broke from them to hurry. It didn't matter that there was fighting so much, only that they might lose what small advantage they had of being unexpected guests. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Kal looked at the group and then at the ceiling. Well, here goes nothing. Her eyes and hands started to glow and she raised her hands straight above her head. A moment later there was a blast of cosmic energy and a good size hole that went up through the building.

"Don't move too much," she said and telekinetically lifted them all up. They started moving up through the newly formed holes.

	When they get to the floor with the fighting they arrive behind one of the sides in the middle of a shoot out though it is hard to tell by looking which side is which. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Michlos let Bullseye deal with the Kingpins guards while he went to the back were his men were under fire from unknowns and losing. With him being there the men regained the composure they had been losing. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Jack dove and rolled, coming up on the side out of the lines of fire. He saw the new arrival, but the smell of guns and powder kept him recognizing Michlos. He couldn't get back into the fight from below. Instead he chose to come at the new guy from above by leaping up and using the wall as a springboard. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Jack’s attack hit Michlos but does not get the reaction he might have expected just shrugging off the attack before sending a kick of his own at him.
