Checking on the home team
Commander Fontaine, Deputy Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., made the rounds when the special ops team came back in. After their last disastrous outing, she wanted to make sure they were still in one cohesive piece. The reports had been favorable.

She hadn't met the newest member yet, though she knew the contents of his file. She'd been the one to have it sent to Sammy for consideration. Her little gun nut, and Walker and Dugan, could always use someone with the ability to build a better gun.

Sammy's report had been terse but informative. The others' a little more informative. Landon was next on her list.

	Tech smiles brightly, walking her to the car and holding her a.little.closer. He laughs at her question, mostly because he doesn't have the first clue at seducing a woman. 	"I don't know," she said frankly. "Not a lot of guys try it with Col. Fury over my shoulder. Cuts down on the distractions, but I imagine some guy will hit on the right formula someday." Tech chuckles a little as she says she'll 'put him to bed'. What was he now, three year old?

"I feel like I'm not living up to my hosting duties, Fury. I'll just have to make up another reason for us to go on a pretend date so that we can pretend to be dating and do...pretend date things.

Okay, it sounds a lot better when I don't use pretend so much." Tech jokes.

"But sure, let's get back to the house. After the next pill I take, it may not be long before I fall asleep anyway, despite the good company." he says.

	She followed directions, proving that at least when in pursuit of dessert she could, and slid into a parking spot. "If the ice cream is incidental, why bother with it?
