A Strange Quest
Quinn had been thinking about the leprechaun incident and had a feeling it wouldn't be the last time he saw the little annoy creatures. Quinn's magic hadn't been effective and he had to know what to do the next time they came around. Maybe there was a spell or something that would work against them and their magic.

Quinn had to go to the one person who would know about this kind of stuff.

He teleported to 177A Bleecker Street in New York only to find it empty. He wondered where Dr. Strange was.

There was one person who may know. Quinn teleported out to the West Coast and arrived at the front gate of the Defenders.

The Hood still isn't fully recovered from the Weapon X brouhaha, but when she receives the invitation, she considers the idea. She's being invited to a council of magic users. It would be nice to have someone who could teach her more about her power instead of learning from a book. Maybe someone would even listen to her about what happened to her father and offer to help.

Then again, they might not. This could also be a trap of some kind. She wasn't going to let anyone else get close enough to kill her again.

She answers with an acceptance of the invitation, then goes to write Kelly a note, telling her and the others that she'll be back soon.

Then she goes upstairs to grab her guns, her cloak and weapons.

No one was going to trap her ever again.

Akilah and Daniel had both received their invitations, and the pair worked together to teleport to the congregation. Akilah had her whip and a hunting knife.
