Arrivals in Symkaria (all Heirs and their escorts)
Just before they got near Symkarian airspace, they'd gotten a message from Vernard that he and his brother would be going. Another point in the 'Nazi Trap!' column.

And again they answer a few basic questions from SHIELD before they're even allowed past those border checks.

Eventually, they're in. Giovanna's hand hangs onto Andrew's arm in a girlfriendly fashion. The better to shock him at an instant's notice.

Symkaria's cleanup look like it's going very well.

Bea already couldn't imagine how sore she was going to be tomorrow. And it was already going to get worse. One really can't see anything under the ruined table, but she knows where her cousin-once-removed is anyway, and the first thing she does is pull the taser out of her gear, reach out to where she knows his skin and no one else's to be, and give him another good shock.

"Thank you, Daniel." She glanced at him and smiled, and then stood up from her seat and faced the guards running in from the door. Shocking Andrew wasn't her first priority. Instead, Akilah moved out of the shield Daniel had made and fired off a wide arc of electricity at the incoming guards. All the better to give her allies of the moment some time to compose themselves.

Vincent manages to get to his feet, Andrew now providing a conveniently increasingly large target for a spell.

He points a mostly open hand, fingers poised as if gripping something, at Andrew. "Fulgus contingo!" An electric charge builds up around his body, then spews for, forming a larger vision of the hand in midair and then grabbing onto Andrew, focusing the attack away from any bystanders.

He raises his other hand to target the guard robots once this spell is concluded.

Nicolai’s ears were ringing from the explosions. He was already feeling sore and the real fight hadn’t even started yet but at least as far as he could tell he had gotten through the explosions mostly unharmed.

Moving fast Nicolai grabbed two guns he had hidden on him a handgun and a tasergun. He opens fire on the incoming robot guards with the handgun and shoots at Andrew with the tasergun.

	After Akilah's initial attack subsides, Giovanna is up and flashing behind one of the robots, taking it down before it can recover from the shock. "Anyone know why she looked in the corner just before?" she calls out to the others. She's concerned. Could be another trap. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Kassia felt something biting into her shoulder and realized it was a decent-sized chunk of what had been the table. It hadn't gone terribly deep and she yanked it out, casting it aside before pulling out one of her wrist daggers and flung it at a weak spot on one of the guards. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The Hood waits a moment or two after the explosions end to be certain they aren't about to catch a delayed reaction before allowing herself and Crosshairs to become tangible again. The best shielding technology money and force can buy falls away to reveal the equipment in the corner, and the false panelling cracks open to reveal a trap door next to it.

With a repulsor blast to keep the robots off of him, Kristoff makes his way to the corner, takes the camera out of the corner, and examines it for a moment.

"It's broadcasting to another location," he says. "Somebody wanted to watch as we died."

Weakened by Akilah's attack, the two robots riddled with bullets by Nicolai and the Hood are completely destroyed. Marrina's target is crushed, and Kassi and Giovanna's are damaged enough to be brought to the ground.

Unfortunately, Gio's target was still intact enough to drag her down, and the five robots following them up are freshly undamaged by the previous spell.

Fortunately, they still just have to charge in through the doors.

	The one grabbing Gio gets stepped on as Andrew charges towards the door, growing larger and stronger as he goes. At first, the shots and explosion kind of stung. Now, its more like unpleasant prickling. As he nears the door he lowers his shoulder, launching himself trying to catch as many robots as he can to buy the others some time. Kelly blinks as the phasing ends. "Huh, wow, usually when shrapnel goes through me, it leaves some holes. Nifty."

While the others are engaged in heavy firefight, she calmly picks up her backpack and begins pulling metal and hard plastic bits out. With chaos raging around her, she quietly and calmly assembles her heavy machinegun and tripod, finishing by slinging the shell feed over her shoulder.

"When all of you are ready to find out what's behind door #1, I'll cover you up here and introduce these clanks to some real firepower. Then I'll put my penis away and use the heavy machinegun too."

	Giovanna shock... lightning bolt... tasers... high-tech gauntlet shock. Andrew keeps getting stronger and stronger, and now the shots are barely registering as they bounce off his flesh. He swings upward, bringing a section of the ceiling down in front of him to try and complicate the approach for the robots. "I believe the operative term is 'Hulk Smash.'" Vincent releases a blast of arctic cold. "Congelo sphaera!" The blast takes out another two robots, and forms a makeshift defensive wall as it coats the entrance in a wall of ice.

He then faces the entrance and puts his back to the trapdoor. "Ladies and gentlemen, after you. I'll cover us. Hurry."

He may seem just a little bit nervous as they're presumably approaching where the prisoners are being held.

The Hood immediately begins casting a couple of defensive spells on herself, one for a little bit more durability and a second to increase her sense of smell. Being able to scent trouble before seeing it might give her an advantage in the short-term.

She waits for the familiar click of her guns reloading themselves and steps forward.

"God, my girlfriend is hot. Especially when she breaks out the heavy artillery." she says offhandedly.

	Collapsed ceiling and ice notwithstanding, there'll be some attempt by the Doombot/A.I.M.bot hordes to get in for a while longer. The staircase goes a long way underground before there's some lights over an insanely heavily-secured door. Standing in front of that door, each surrounded by a cluster of more robots, are two Superadaptoids. (Reply to this)(Parent)
