One Way Ticket Out of Here
Irina and Lyta returned to the Champions headquarters and informed the other members about running into the visitor from the other dimension and that the bad Avengers were here and on the loose. It took a little bit of time to explain it all, but by the time they were finished their guests had arrived.

They were shown in and they all gathered in what was once the main room of the nightclub.

"Which is precisely why we can't pull punches. You have teleporters and people with some speed, right? If you can get her attention, Thrynn is easy to pull away from the fight - almost always a bad idea to go directly after her, but if you can keep from getting hit, you can play tag with her for a while and get her to go wherever. That cuts their heavies a bunch. Beyond that, depends on who they have with them."

"Yeah, but even if you get her out of the picture, it's not like any of them is no threat." A pause, and a small smile in Herrick's direction. "Well, Annie, with the filigreed wings, isn't that much of a threat, but the others aren't going to be likely to hold anything back."

"It looked in your visit to our facet of reality that Evan teleported one of you - he's got a lot more than that. Packs an okay punch, and when he starts licking the knives, it's not for dramatic effect; it's a neurotoxin."

Bren nods to Kyler's assessment. "Evan is one of the more versatile. And don't believe his charming act, he's just trying to get you off guard. Masterson is the second biggest hitter - he's not as tough as Thrynn, but he's not as dumb either. He'll stick with the rest so there'll be someone seeing how cool he is so his mom will hear about it when they get back. Going to take some heavy hits to keep him tied up. Rogers will come straight at me as soon as he sees me, guess I get under his skin. I'll try and keep him from giving them any field leadership. Anthony and his armor are the same way - if he sees Caroline, he'll want to tangle with her. I'd suggest either letting her keep him tied up, or use that to try and ambush him, see if we can slow him down early."

Yeah, he's one of the 'good guys', as his world goes, but Bren doesn't pull any punches. They haven't been able to afford it.

Bren considers. "Depends. If someone can get under her skin, and is willing to go through ahead of her, Thrynn will chase them. Rogers and Stark - depends on me and Caroline, respectively. If you're just sending them home, and willing to trade the two of us to remove the two of them, easy. Tossing Evan anywhere he doesn't want to go is the next worst thing to impossible. The others fall somewhere in between."

Argo remained rather unimpressed. This was possibly because he didn't fully grasp the gravity of the situation, or possibly just because his belief in the cause of good and the victory of heroes was that great.
