Dark Reflections: Battle In New York
Morning came to New York and with it a brisk wind making it seem colder than it was. The weak winter sun did little to warm things up and a layer of frost covered cars and other objects left out in the cold winter air over night. The city that never slept was becoming more alive with activity as her residents started their daily routines.

High above the city the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier flew, keeping an eye on the city below.

It seemed like any other winter's morning in New York, but today would prove to be far from ordinary.

	Time to start trying to outskill him, because she's not going to outstrength him. She pushes back hard enough to make him really press back, then spins in a judo throw, flinging him towards the side of the helicarrier, and throwing Mjolnir after him to try and 'help him along' in a collision with one of the weapon embankments. 	And all the speed in the world can't really help much in a moment of 'wait, what do I do now?' as one is flying into a weapon embankment with a magic hammer slamming against one's tummy. 	And this time, the Void enunciates it a bit drily as it just takes it in the stomach, jolted back a little ways. "Ouch." And the clouds discharge, most of it attacking the helicarrier itself. Just for kicks. And he keeps coming at her. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Wait, they were trying to disable the helicarrier, not destroy it. There's people aboard, and its over the city! She does what she can with the hammer to slow the storm, but she'd need a lot more practice before being half as good as Thor with this thing. "You have to stop! You're going to kill thousands." she yells, as she rushes him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The shield quite possibly saves her life, again. Even so, with the impact, felt even through the vibranium properties of the shield, she's driven back into the side of a building, and through the other side.

The hammer didn't even slow him down, and the shield is buying her time, but that's about it. Still, with so much at stake now, above and beyond registration, she can't stop.

Feinting with the hammer, she comes back at him, swinging the edge of the shield for his throat.

	She presses her advantage as best she can, swinging the shield at his face again, but mostly to block his line of sight to try and get in a hammerblow to the solar plexus while she tries to get back closer to the helicarrier. This is definitely getting bad - at worst, she seems to be annoying him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	And he's driven back towards the helicarrier. And Mjolnir in the gut isn't exactly nothing, so he tries tossing her into the side of the helicarrier in irritation. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She lifts the shield to defend herself from the oncoming hands, realizing what he's doing too late. She crashes into the heavy armored side of the helicarrier, then through it like it was tissue paper, continuing on through a couple more reinforced titanium walls until she finally comes to a stop, even as alarms sound all around her.
