Dark Reflections: Battle In New York
Morning came to New York and with it a brisk wind making it seem colder than it was. The weak winter sun did little to warm things up and a layer of frost covered cars and other objects left out in the cold winter air over night. The city that never slept was becoming more alive with activity as her residents started their daily routines.

High above the city the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier flew, keeping an eye on the city below.

It seemed like any other winter's morning in New York, but today would prove to be far from ordinary.

Iason nods. "You may have the opportunity. There are a couple dozen more coming. The echoes in here and the building storm outside make it hard to be precise, but I can hear their footsteps." he says.

He tears the door off its hinges and steps in, beginning to 'feed' off their power generators, having to take it slow. The ride is already getting rough enough without him interrupting the energy flow too drastically. Still, his wounds slowly begin to fade with the intense energy feed to draw on - much more effective, if requiring more focus than simply resting in the sun a few hours.

	Iason was correct. There were SHIELD agents coming. Six of them burst onto the scene. They opened fire when they saw the two Eternals. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Eli would have liked to try his way next, but his current condition leaves him with little patience for this sort of interruption. He TK pulls the door Iason tore down between the agents and themselves. Several shots bounce off it it, then Eli throws the door at the oncoming agents.

"Take your time, Iason. I...will hold them off." Eli says, concentrating on keeping the incoming fire off of them.

	The agents are stopped by the door and go down after Eli tosses it at them. The Eternals won't have to worry about them for the moment. (Reply to this)(Parent)
