Leaving On A JetPlane (Is just arriving somewhere else on one)
Chris smiled to herself as she watched the tarmac approach, feeling the familiar grinding and bumping of wheels as they met the ground, her flight finally setting down at LAX. Mom living on the other side of the country may make it a bit of a jaunt to visit, but she loves coast-hopping. Mom and Dad's separation wasn't easy for her to deal with, but she'd never held it against either of them. She'd made it blatantly clear, even with how young she was, that she wasn't going to be bounced back and forth in whatever custody agreement. It was why she'd wound up with the X-Men; Avengers-Hank had talked to X-Hank, who talked to the Professor. So, Xavier's; best place in the world for a kid to grow up learning how to master their freakish ways.

No need for baggage claim, since everything she needed was at Mom's, and there would be shopping. Chris was still struggling with resisting the urge to bolt down the hallway on all fours when she spotted the familiar face.

"Mom!" She waved, but didn't bother sprinting the rest of the way down the hallway to the welcome area. Last time she did that she accidentally clocked someone with her carry-on.

	Tigra is well enough known around here, but she didn't want to draw too much added attention to her daughter. She's waiting casually, then starts to wave as the tackling occurs. She jumps back, eyeing the scene. "What...?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Chris grits her teeth. "So much for vacation." She tosses her bag to her mom, hopping over the rail at the end of the walkway. "I got this, mom." She moves forward, ready to help whoever her mom's assist was by joint-locking the guy he's grappling with. "What's the idea, punk?" She moves for the would-be attacker's wrists. 	The attacker knocks the man by her mother to the ground. "I'm afraid, young hijacker, your plans did not include the ability of Ohu Amane to see danger!" he declares. 	Tigra eyes the scene. "Not bad... but are we being filmed, or are you announcing your name because you're auditioning for a comic book?" she asks, drawing out her Avengers' ID to make sure security knows who's on what side to avoid any problems confusion might cause. 	Her mom having headed off to meet up with Simon leaves Chris free to roam about. She's not especially looking for the Defenders, but she certainly won't mind meeting them. Give them the customary 'it happens' for the hero fight. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	At least one of the Defenders is easy to find. The 7' berserker is in the workout area, swinging a pair of two handed swords about with expert precision and surprising speed for someone his size. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Chris smiled. "Steak is good. Preferably still close to bloody." She tugged on one of his arms to draw him towards the car. "I think we can skip appetizers and desert. I have the strangest feeling we're going to be wanting to head back here after not too long..." She blushed a little, even if she considered herself being the one starting this whole thing.
