Zombiepocalypse
The moon was rising over the city of New Orleans, however, it wasn't the only thing rising in the city tonight. Corpses were rising from their resting places and starting to move through the city. Decaying flesh hung from rotting bones as they shambled through the streets. At first the tourists thought it was a joke or some sort of production, but when the zombies started grabbing tourists and started biting they knew otherwise.

Elsewhere restless spirits moved around and in their anger and anguish stirring up objects and moving them around. Some discarded trashed hit tourists and sent them running. The spirits were encouraged by this and became more and more violent.

The source of this unrest moved through the streets behind Baron Samedi in the form of a cult. He controlled the zombies and the spirits and they had summoned him. The leader of the cult was quite pleased at the chaos that was now present in the streets of New Orleans.

	The numbers of zombies was decreasing rapidly. The Rider's chain sliced through them along with Lyta's sword and Irina's knives. Some were blocked by earthworks and the ones Argo took care of didn't rise again. The cultists saw the Rider coming and tried to flee. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The Rider runs the first one down, not deadly - but general team requirements never said anything about some broken bones. His chain snaps another's ankle. He leaves the fallen for his teammates to collect - the cultists need to be stopped, and he's working at it - but the presence of the Baron draws him ever closer, even if a few cultists might scatter and escape. 	Irina was zombie free for a moment. She sent one of her knives flying at one of the cultists. It went flying into the man's right eye. She pulled another one out of her boot and focused at a zombie coming at her. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Two cultist stopped in their tracks and clutched their heads while screaming in pain.

The zombies were mindlessly attacking Argo and were being summarily destroyed by the Olympian.

Samedi, actually his avatar, on the other hand was not running and no bothered by the appearance of the Champions. He had an eerie smile on his face as his hands started to glow with magical energies. He shot it at the Rider.

Voudan has significant powers for dealing with the undead and demons alike, even the corrupted version the head of this group is using. Likewise, the Baron, the loa riding the person chosen as host and avatar has both in his portfolio.

When the bolts strike, seeming to home in on the rider, there's an unearthly scream, and the hellfire flickers and fades, the Rider going flying away from his bike.

	Irina watched the Rider go flying and knew this wasn't going well at all. She opened a portal under two cultists and opened the other end of it right above the caldera of Kilauea volcano. She hoped Pele enjoyed the sacrifices. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Nick pulls himself up to sitting with Corey's help, the flames starting to reassert themselves. He gestures, and the bike roars to life, heading towards the avatar of its own accord. He's pretty sure that won't do it on its own, but he needs to get the guy's attention off his spellcasting for at least a few moments. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The Rider is in pain, but the distraction got him some time to recover.

The bike tears back to him, and he goes tearing at the cult leader, forming the chain.

He does a drive by, juking left and right to avoid more magical attacks, only launching the chain after he drives by, trying to catch the avatar around the neck and drag him in close.

"Corey, try to hold him, he's too powerful for any one of us!" he growls over the howl of the bike.

	The chain wrapped around the avatar's neck and his hands went up to try to remove it. He struggled and the chain started to come loose, screaming the whole time. The cult leader went down. The air shimmered and the cultists and the avatar disappeared. The zombies stopped moving and fell to ground and were still. (Reply to this)(Parent)
