Not an after school special. (Open to Ben and/or Mac.)
Kassi hated gym. Hated it with a passion, even more now that they were very near the end of the school year and it was hot outside. Heat didn't go well for a girl with a largely Atlantean physiology nor did it go well with those damn socks. The socks were the bane of her existence and so Kassi tried to time it just so that when she went in to dress out for gym she could be alone, allowing her to free her wings for a moment before stuffing back in their little elastic prisons.

She had just slipped off her shoes and sat down thinking she was alone when she heard a noise.

	"I'm a damn princess. If nothing else that will make a point. People aren't going to mess with you anymore, Anne. I'm not gonna let them." Kassi pulled on her gym shirt. 	Ben is, in fact, in the gym shooting baskets with a few of the guys. His back is to the entrance to the Girl's Locker Room, so he doesn't immediately notice when the whispers start. Quickly, though, one of the guys taps Ben on the shoulder. "Hey, Parker...isn't that your girlfriend over there with Anne?" he asks. Ben turns to look. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Namor was going to be so angry about this and probably wonder if she was thinking straight after her injury, but Kassia figured she could handle the anger. Princesses are supposed to stand up for the people, right? At least those who in theory will be joining the army in some capacity. Kassi considered this just a part of that so it was with her head held high and Anne right by her that she strolled into the gym in her little shorts...and no socks. She looked around for Ben and his crew. First stop? Popular guys.

"Hi Ben."

"Hey, Kassi. Um...you never mentioned you had wings." Ben says, looking down at her ankles. He smiles at Anne. Ben didn't have a problem with mutants; considering who his father was and who his sister /is/, people with special abilities are just people to him.

Oh, and there's what Ben can do, too, but that's neither here nor there.

"I like them, though. Those and the color green are pretty cool." he says.

From somewhere in the gym, however, a different opinion is voiced.

"This school isn't for freaks!"

	"Then maybe you should go elsewhere!" Kassia turns her head and yells back at the kid before looking back at Ben. "Sorry I didn't tell you, my dad sort of asked me not to but jerks like that...yeah. "Yes, my dad is that Namor. Which, if you do the math, makes me a princess. Glad we're all on the same page." She attempted a smile. This...this might be going badly for her. The idea twisted in her stomach a bit, but she swallowed it down. Supporting Anne would have to be worth it. It would.

"Ben, I was planning on telling you all of it. I just...didn't really know quite how. Then I saw Anne getting bullied and...I couldn't hide anymore. It's not right."
