After three days, Jack realized he hadn't seen Kalypso or at least heard from her. He called the Avengers Mansion to see if everything was okay and if they were on an extended mission. Three nights of restless nightmares told him that something was off and it had to be her absence. There was something missing that he couldn't put his finger on, but he believed that it would resolve itself once he saw her.

Jarvis told him that Miss Kalypso was indeed staying at the mansion but nothing more than that. Jack decided to show up that evening.

	Later he'd work out how she could have missed him when he was sure he hadn't gone anywhere, but he'd missed her like crazy after three days. Not knowing was the worst part. "It felt like something in me was missing, Kal. I don't like that feeling." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"I was just doing my nightly round and I..." For a second he /knew/ what had gone wrong, and then it was gone. "I don't know. Maybe if I go back over the same territory I'll find something to jog my memory. But I will let you know before I take off for the rooftops. It helps clear my head some nights when I'm working on something but if there's any chance something else happens you'll know where to look."
