Cold Air (open)
Kalypso took a deep breath in and slowly let it out. Cold air was always good for clearing the head and the polluted air from lungs. Kalypso hovered far above New York, high enough that the city was just a speck of light in the dark. Mom had said the cold thing was a racial trait of theirs. Apparently Eternals liked high cold places and Kalypso appeared to be no exception.

She took another deep breath and closed her eyes. Everything was so peaceful up here. The troubles and cares withered away in the cold.

The summer had been a busy one. Mom's business was really taking off and Kal had been pressed into slave labor for much of the summer. Not that she minded much. She'd do anything for her mother. It had always been the two of them versus everyone else. Though now it was Mom, Kal and Jack against everyone else.

She smiled at the thought of Jack. The man had become such a huge part of Kal's life and she loved him beyond words. It was even worth the few bouts of interference from her mother. Mom hadn't even tried to move Kal back in with Jack again. Which Kal was very thankful for.

Kalypso looked up at dark sky above and at the stars. She smiled and started going up.

	"No, it probably won't, but you can ask, or I can track her down and see if she's talked to him since. Or I could drop by Titan to talk to other folks, and mention your name so it'd get to him - he'd probably come streaking back to Earth to talk to your Mom. Its not like I'm an unknown out that way." "You'll get a chance, when you're ready to take a longer trip. Its a waste for short jaunts, like Mars... have to get way out of planetary gravity, make sure not to come back in too close... but it means that a lot of the distant empires don't take a lot longer to get to than in system trips. I'm not sure how skilled you are with flight... you might well be able to generate them on your own."

	"I still wobble when flying," she admitted. "I've never had a reason to try. The most I've done is teleport myself and Jack to Olympia." It made her wonder if it was possible to teleport to Titan. Not that she wanted to try. Teleporting was so unpleasant. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
