In the Deep of the Night
Night had settled over the city of Los Angeles. A waning gibbous mood had risen and the light of the stars was blocked out by the thick smog that usually blanketed the city. The hours moved on and the city slowed down. Citizens were asleep in their beds and off to dreamland.

The same held true for the residents at 1800 Palos Verdes Drive.

They wouldn't stay asleep for long. Something stirred in the darkness outside.

	With that, at least, they'll have some help. Halbjorn can be heard tearing into the ranks of the spartans - and this time, with the news about his sister, he's not holding back, fighting like a wounded and angry animal, out for blood, just wading into the ranks and taking their best shots - and then taking their heads. 	The combination of Hal's attacks and the attacks by the rest of the Defenders quickly diminish the number of Spartans. Ares is gone from the battlefield and the troops seem to falter a little without his presence. However, they are Spartans so they will fight to the very last man. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Aridis just keeps fighting. The Spartans get torn off of Griffen and she cuts with her thin blade like a butcher. She is filled with anger right now. The kind nothing can cool. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He's failed. The Princess of Asgard, and heir, is gone. Hal, and the madness, know one way to vent - and now even that is denied to him. As the Spartans disappear, narrowed eyes look for any other movement, no sign of real intelligence or recognition behind them. (Reply to this)(Parent)
