In the Deep of the Night
Night had settled over the city of Los Angeles. A waning gibbous mood had risen and the light of the stars was blocked out by the thick smog that usually blanketed the city. The hours moved on and the city slowed down. Citizens were asleep in their beds and off to dreamland.

The same held true for the residents at 1800 Palos Verdes Drive.

They wouldn't stay asleep for long. Something stirred in the darkness outside.

Svalin woke with a start and looked around. The light next to her bed was still on and she had fallen asleep reading a book. It slid off of her and fell to the floor.

She had another nightmare involving Jon and their son.

Svalin took a deep breath and climbed out of bed. Maybe some fresh air would help her calm her nerves. She pulled on her robe and made her way down to the small porch of the bungalow.

The hair on the back of her neck rose when she stepped out onto the porch. She could quit being a warrior, but the warrior's instincts would never leave her. Right now they were telling her that something was wrong.

	Dawn, meanwhile, was quite asleep, having had something of a long day of tutelage under Doctor Strange and needing to recover both in body and in magical energies. She had both in levels beyond a normal human, of course, but even those had their limits. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Svalin had made her way up to the main house where she joined Zoey, Lady Sydney and Lady Sarah. The small group went downstairs and then went through the tunnel to the hangar bay. Sydney readied the Quinjet for takeoff just in case they needed it. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Franklin had Andy located through his telepathy and immediately headed in that direction. He actually arrived through the hole that was in the ceiling, and stayed floating in the air. Before he left, Franklin told the Defenders that from what he could tell, Andy seemed in distress. "Andy, everyone is on their way." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Andy was settled into the medical bay and Dr. Demasi was tending to him. The rest of the Defenders regrouped in the hangar bay where Svalin had been abducted. Syd had Sarah take Zoey up to the main building while the Defenders figured out what happened to Svalin. (Reply to this)(Thread)
