All Hope Abandon, Ye Who Enter In!
Between Marlow and Dawn the Defenders had managed to track the shadow demons who had abducted Svalin to the gates of Hades. Countless shades wandered on the shores of the river Acheron. These were the paupers and the friendless, those who did not possess an obolus to pay Charon.

A small boat floated on the dark waters of the river and the cloaked figure of Charon stood in the boat waiting to ferry souls across the river. A skeletal hand clutched a pole and the other was outstretched waiting to receive a fare for crossing.

On the other side of the river stood a large three headed dog and a large two headed dog. Cerebus and Orthus guarded the entrance into Pluto's realm.

He hates to do this. He truly does. He wants to be there to rescue his sister - but in his current state, on the edge of madness, he knows he might not only doom the mission, but hurt his friends as well.

"I hath gold as well." he offers a pouch. "More than enow for Charon's toll... and I wilt handle the guardians at the gate. Abandon me to them and sneak past, lest I be more harm than good. Whate'er happens, save mine sister, and if I yet live, return me to sunlit lands on thine way out."

Eiltin had been standing silently off to the side. If this is what other's underworlds were like he was very glad to be of the Tuatha de Danaan. This place made him feel very uncomfortable it was not a land of merriment like Annwn and it was another pantheon's place of the dead.

When it was his turn when went up to Charon and whispered something in his ear that would be well worth his payment.

	"I do know all of the songs of Orpheus that you like," Eiltin reminded him, "Along with some of the others from when you where young." Music was once of the things that kept him going against his every instinct to leave that he should not be here. It was one thing to be in the land of the dying but this was something else. 	"Hold on, that might work. Music is how Orpheus paid Charon in his descent to the underworld." And Eiltin was a half-God with an affinity for music. It made sense that his offer of music, especially in bringing up the music of Orpheus, would be enough to pay Charon for his passage. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Sigurdur pays his fare and waits for everyone else to be ready, ready to find the person that took Svalin and consign them to eternity in this place. Why were the Olympians so damned depressing? 	"I wilt gain thee entry, and the time thou needst. Save our sister, worry not for me." He brought up the coins as soon as he noticed the issue.
