Family Time for Atlanteans May Include Beatdowns
Well, Derek was really curious as to how things went on the East Coast, and so far all he had seen was interesting. The pizza here was better than it was back home, but the burgers in Cali have the East Coast beat down (although he had yet to try the burger place everyone keeps raving about, the White Castle place). Still, he was about to see the biggest difference of them all: the headquarters of the Avengers.

On his phone he dials Mac. He didn't have the damn codes to get in, after all.

	Crap! it's been a while since he fought someone of his strength level, so Derek lets go and backs off a bit. He's keeping and eye on his nephew and glancing about to try to find a direction of attack that would be of benefit. With Mac going downward...Derek flies to the left side a bit and dives down, trying to catch Mac sidelong. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Good news: Dereks body blow connects. Bad news: Derek was not at all expecting it himself, as he was trying to set up a feint and now he's out of position. So he goes for a bit of a desperation maneuver, lashing out as he backs up a bit. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Oh shi-! Derek tried to pull back, but he is grabbed and held onto. Normally, he can force his way out of all but a handful within the walls of Atlas but here a lot of the moves his Uncle Ken had taught him would be hard to pull off.

Still, Derek is gonna try. He grabs onto his cousin and tries to twist his body, trying to wrench himself into a better position to get out, like his Uncle showed him.

	This is why it's handy to put sea water inside the suit: Mac manages to redirect and try to rework the holds in progress, keeping him a little longer, but he can't keep up with Derek for sheer ...wrassling. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Even within the wrasslin', Derek has a huge smile on his face. Still, this is hurting and he has to end it. So, what's something unexpected to do? Derek leans back, as if trying to break the hold, then brings his forehead in quick to smash into MacKenzies face. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Well, this wasn't going anywhere. They were evenly matched and if this went on for too long the water he spotted would give Mac the long term advantage. So Derek quickly fishes something out of his front pocket. It looks to be a lump of metal, until he starts unfolding it into what appears to be a headband of sorts... (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Courtesy of Uncle Bob," is all Derek says before he's on the move. He moves fast, but now he begins trying to project a blur around himself. It's about all he knows how to do easily without going straight at his opponents brain. And still the headache is beginning. 	Oh crap! Again! And where Mac is wrapped, it feels like Mac has Dereks neck, which means less air to the brain. So he digs and tries to force Mac off with the headbands imparted power. However, that ground is coming up mighty fast... (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
