"Sweetie? It's a term of endearment. An affectionate way to address someone other than the more formal usage of their name. There's a bunch of them, like 'sweetie', 'honey', 'dear', 'angel', 'sugarlips', 'babycakes'... to name a few. It really depends on what the person calling you's more comfortable using. See, I've never gotten the whole 'calling someone muffin' thing, but some do it." She tipped her head up so she could smile at him.

"Aha! But see, you obviously don't know me well enough if you think time has anything to do with how much I can heart someone. You're Sylvie's cousin, which makes you automatically awesome. You're a mutant - another plus. You're shy, sweet and in need of coddling. I love to coddle. And I'm an affectionate person. All's I need is a good enough excuse to be affectionate." She continues to beam up at him.

"Mm, and I've made someone's head explode - in self defense. Doesn't make me a bad person." She brushed her cheek over his back, giving him another squeeze before letting him go. "And coddling is just as much for me as it is for you. Also, all the denial in the world isn't going to make me think you're not sweet, Fred. It's too late for that. You rescued me in the middle of a chocolate-related emergency. I have massive hearts for you. Now, finish your food. It never tastes as good cold."

	"I was more a... back up option. I was more concerned with graduating and getting my time abroad than in putting on leather and getting my ass handed to me." She'd felt guilty about that before she left, but she'd rationalized it as 'she was coming back and would be fully involved then', which let her have her time to herself. 	It's really hard to not tease him, but she means what she says; he does need coddling. And more exposure to positive contact. And who better to ooze love and heartfaces all over someone than Sasha.
