"Ladies and Gentlemen, if I may have your attention," Anya said into the microphone on a small stage that had been constructed.

"I would personally like to thank you all for coming tonight and for helping to launch the Terra Nova Foundation. New Earth. That's the goal of this foundation. We aim to create a new Earth, one that is in much better shape than the one we inherited. We aim to do through this through clean energy and through funding other projects that will help better the Earth. Money can go a long way, but what to do with that money and where it should go is not my forte. However, I do know someone who is very active when it comes to environmental concerns and he has been an invaluable help. Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to introduce Mr. Cornelius Drake."

Corey smiled sheepishly and cleared his throat. "Thank you, Anya. And thank you all for being here. Vanguarding the switch to clean energy is a big thing for Terra Nova, but ending energy pollution is still only part of giving the world a new direction. The resources Terra Nova has put into play are covering a broad spectrum of ecological repair and precautions. They're backing soil reclamation projects. They're working with corporations and governments to create incentives so that people who don't have a lot of options learn that cutting down the rainforest for just a couple year's agricultural advantage can't be one of those options. They're providing sustainable agriculture solutions for people living in all different kinds of ecosystems." And he gives an efficient rundown of the numbers: where the money is going, what results are being sought, and yes, he has a chart. But he tries not to drone on before smiling. "I'll let you all get back to the champagne and cider, but thanks for hearing me out on what we're here about."

Professor Millia Graft, head of bio-tech for The Leap Foundation, was in attendance per her company's request. There were concerns about Stark and her new pet project giving away for free what they wanted to get on the market, so far as ecological preservation technologies were concerned. She tolerated it, as she did most things she perceived as wastes of time in exchange for her position. She was giving a golf clap to the speech when something caught her eye.

A very familiar face, accompanying some large armored metahuman. The face she, and the Foundation's marketing department, had programmed. She gets out her phone, speaking in casually content tones. "Dear? Yes, it's me. No, everything's fine, just checking in. You know that trinket I wanted you to pick up? I just remembered where I saw it. Yes, we should get it right away. See you tonight."

She hangs up and takes a picture of the subject and the one he was accompanying. She also sends a text message to the company's private security detail, requesting tracking.

This night turned out better than she could have hoped for.

...There's nothing weird about a woman photographing a talented former wrestler and some kid he's standing with, Gio told herself.

...Even if she just had a very suspiciously vague and generic sudden phone conversation. There wasn't enough detail to warrant making that call if it was actually about jewelry. It screamed code.

Gio narrowed her eyes at the woman, looking very carefully.
