The Costs of Doing Business
After her previous run was ruined, Jean-Louise was relieved to finally be on the Kree border sorting out oatmeal orders. Just one little outpost now, but give her time. She was giving the senior officers a sample of the new milkshake-like beer recipe she'd learned when she found herself looking out the window.

	It was a guess, but apparently a good one. Azura reacted quickly and used Godslayer to block the blow. She followed the motion and tried to get Godslayer around his sword. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He sees the move coming and twists to cause her to slide off the strike. With both swords temporarily out of striking range, Val-Oth's muscled tail comes at Azura with a quick attack. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Azura saw the tail coming and jumped, but not before the tail clipped her. Azura growled and hit him with an energy blast from a hand. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The blast drove him back just a little after his tail had clipped her, sending the two back a small distance from each other. A small hint of a grin came across Val-Oth's face. "If I wasn't intrigued before, I certainly am now." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The tail made contact and Azura was knocked backward. She growled and pulled herself back to her feet. She charged forward, hitting him with blasts of energy as she did. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	And the blast hit Val-oth head-on. The armor took the bulk of the hit, but the Deviant prince is still set rolling back. He gets to his feet when Kay-Len's message is broadcast. "What is she doing!?" He growled indignantly. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
