A Sea of Blood
Ophois unleashed the Egyptian goddess Sakhmet on the city of Budapest. The goddess' blood lust was insatiable and she tore through the city leaving a sea of blood behind her. Anyone that got in her way was cut down and the blood flowed freely.

	Kayura felt good about how they were doing. She could feel glancing blows on her armor but she was keeping up with a Goddess. That's a good thing. 	Keiji was forced to bring his claws up to block a strike. While he had hardened them to adamantium levels, the blow was hard enough to send him back. He cursed aloud as the force of the blow against his bones caused considerable pain up his arms. He took a breath through gritted teeth before diving back in. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Once she's gotten enough of her mojo flowing to start to truly change, Jo is on better footing, and she circles the cat-lady as rapidly as her altered form allows. Her bow jolts back and forth across the strings rapidly, sending a barrage of notes of force at her. It's not quite vicious enough to be a death by a thousand cuts, but the sheer volume of them should be a hindrance, or at least one hell of a distraction.

Plus, it's never a bad time for Korsakov.

	Sakhmet took blows from claws and swords, but she didn't appear to be slowing down. Her swords moved very quickly and struck out at any target within range. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Part of the forefront, Hajime takes a few glancing blows, owing to an opponent far stronger than he's used to along with divine skill, but his own centuries of experience allow him to keep using his blade as slight hindrance, assisting him in moving aside, in the process continually turning her bit by bit with her own savage momentum to help create opportunities for others, since he makes only the most token of strikes himself, focused on defense and strategy.

	Hajime sees the blades moving to block the others, and goes for precision. He's sure he couldn't actually pierce her skin, but that doesn't mean he's helpless. The kensai thrusts with his sword, trying to stab the goddess in one eye. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Jo gives a feral hiss of frustration as the cat-lady's attack continues. She doesn't buy into the whole 'gods' thing that Thor and Hercules and those other guys go on about, but this bitch is as tough as old boots. She changes her strategy, focusing her attention and her music on the samurai, still locked in close range with her.

"Hey Musashi, get ready to roll with this...." She focuses her thoughts on key points in the lyrics, trying to condense the effect. Reflexes. Adaptation. Speed. Tables turning. And so, she plays.

Hajime was already taking a lot of risks with his technique, but is doing his best to hold out - and then the music hits. Its not like anything he's ever felt - despite which, he adapts fairly quickly after just a moment of surprise. He's lucky he has the extra speed, as that moment almost costs him. He blade still opens up a cut to the side of his face, but he ducks back in time to avoid losing an eye, or worse.

Then he's right back at her, precision strikes coming at musically-enhanced blinding speed, aiming with precision at eyes, the goddess' throat, anywhere he thinks he might be able to make even the slightest impression against her divine invulnerability.

Bram had as much beer as he could set up not to far away from the fighting and had Grogg and Clockwork getting more beer just in case. Sakhmet tolerance was incredible even for a god if the myths were to be believed. He was still hoping for more dye for the beer as well. Anything to make it look more like blood. He sent a message to the others letting them know to retreat back to here.
