Etoile's world has been thrown into a loop, the days she had suddenly appeared at the front gate of Xavier's. She was sent here, not only to escape from being caught, but to gain more help from Xavier. Also, she wanted to lead a decent semi-normal life as a young mutant. University, building friendships, possibly love? Mainly, she wanted to be a part of the X-Men team. Both her parents were part of them for years, she felt the need to follow along.

However, she knew her main purpose for coming to Xavier's, was to locate her missing family. She needed to establish a connection with Xavier and hopefully her fellow teammates would be able to help her (eventually). Right now, this is her doing her own intel on the information given to her by Xavier.

Etoile informed Xavier about her sudden leave from the mansion for awhile. She couldn't sit back and let her parents disappearance be placed on the back burner any longer. She felt confident enough to go out on her own in search for them. Her first stop? New Orleans.

Etoile didn't realize she would be facing some minor problems upon arriving in New Orleans, her father's past which equaled out to be a heap of danger. Etoile is suddenly faced with being attacked by the Thieves' and Assassins Guild after her...right now Etoile is trying to stay alive and survive her hellish visit to New Orleans. Etoile new about them, but to what extent? Not a lot, her father disliked talking about his past and did his best to keep his children out of it. Might have been the wrong idea currently, what he did was what any father would have done. Right now she is on the run...wounded and trying to escape on foot is not a smart idea. God, she could use some help right about now...

He's tempted, oh so tempted to make some remark regarding her being on her knees there and all - but... that probably won't get him the answers he wants. So he just offers her a hand instead.

"Nick. I'm with the Champions. You know, the local super heroes? That was just the start of what that bike can do. Like saving your ass. I do need some more information, and you look like you could use a drink or three."

Etoile looked at his hand offered, then back to him. She gingerly takes a hold of it as she is helped up to her feet. She totally forgot about her wounds, especially her arm which had a pretty nasty gash on it.

"Right...Nick. From the Champions. Etoile. I'm with the X-Men. Global super heroes...I guess. Thanks, for helping me out...probably would have been dead back there if it weren't for you." She sways a bit."I'll give you information later..."

	"Really? That's pretty interesting.." She says, nodding her head a bit. She blinked and looked at her wounded arm."Oh, right, that sounds like a good idea. 	He gets out his favorite medicine, which looks suspiciously like very strong whiskey, pouring some over the wound - with a slightly mournful expression for loss of whiskey - before it can draw too much objection. Then he tears his shirt up enough to bandage the disinfected wound. "Yeah, a guy I know really doesn't like those people, so we can help each other." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Etoile watched him closely. Is he going to use whiskey on her wound? Blinking a little, she continued watching and flinched when she felt the alcohol being poured over her wound to disinfect it.

He did warn her he was no doctor. Soon he'd use piece of his own shirt to wrap it around her wound, to keep it from bleeding or getting further infection in it."Thanks...again." She moves her arm a little, checking the bandage itself."Good job." She praised him for his good efforts.

"Really? Well, I won't refuse help right now. Especially if they have that many in numbers. I know of them, had to deal with them in the past...not to a full extent. My father has deeper ties with them apparently."

"Nope! No refusal from me." she says with a bit of over excitement. The girl could eat, when it came to free food she enjoyed it even more.

Etoile takes a hold of the whiskey bottle."You have a wound as well?" she said in a questioning tone of voice. She wasn't sure what why he gave her the bottle.

"For the..?" Etoile blinks. Looking at him, then the bottle."Oh..you want me to drink it? Uhhh...I'm not a drinker." she says, handing the bottle back to him.

He looks at her for a moment like she's nuts, then just smiles and shakes his head. "Don't know what you're missing, that's good whiskey." he replies. He takes a quick drink himself, then replaces the bottle in his pack. No first aid kit, but he carries whiskey... yeah.

"Alright, anyway... inside. And stay close to me, unless you like being pinched. Rough crowd." he explains simply.

Etoile shrugs her shoulders a bit. This girl has never had time to do anything wild in her life. Her missions are as wild as it gets for her. It didn't bother her if she was missing out."Thanks for the offer, though." she replies. Giving him a brief thumbs up.

"Pinched? Uh, not so much." she admits honestly. Etoile would do as constructed by following him closely into the bar.

	"Pinched, groped, all that. You'll just have to ignore the whistles and comments. They'll keep their hands off - they know me here. And if I don't get to grope you, they don't either." he teases, starting to get an idea how sheltered this one is. She listened as he explained on how she may get treated upon entering the bar. Those kind of things she still needs to get use to. Etoile paused and looked at him, just as soon as he mentioned himself. Would he really? Is he that type of person, what type of person is that anyways?

She shakes her head to push the thoughts aside. As mentioned, they did give her some interesting greetings. Her brows knit together, not sure if she likes it or not. One even got the chance to pinch her on her butt. Etoile jumped, almost jumping onto Nick."Sorry..." she said.

"...What, uh, um, lovely place this is." she was lying evidently. Quickly she moves to the nearest table to sit down."I feel like it's hunting season and I'm the animal their about to hunt for.." she whispers to him.

	"You're a pretty girl, with a nice ass, in a biker bar. Its going to happen. But no one who doesn't look the part will bother us here, so we can talk, we have a ton of backup if any trouble starts, the beer isn't too watered down, and the food is cheap - and pretty good, just don't order the salad. Etoile was about to blush at the pretty girl part, it was put on hold when he mentioned how nice her ass is. Her eyes shift left to right...she could guess he was checking her out?

"I'm not a drinker..but for arguments sake, I'll try some of the beer. Burger and fries would be good...would you laugh if I asked for a chocolate milkshake here?" She asked, blinking a bit and waiting for him to laugh at her.

	He makes no secret about checking her out, but at least he's mostly looking at her face when talking to her, so its something, right? "No, but I can tell you, they don't have milkshakes here. 	He has her pause for a second as a fairly brusque waitress comes by. He orders two cheeseburgers and fries, two beers, and a Coke. Since that seems to cover everything, he lets her go, and turns back to Etoile. "Yeah, some explaining would be a good start." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Etoile smiles at the waitress..sitting idle until the woman leaves with their orders."Right... explanation time." she said with a sigh.

"Let me get this clear. There are some things I cannot tell you, they're classified, understood? There is a certain privacy code I need to follow.." she explained. It was not blabbing about being a spy, most spy's usually don't confirm that they happen to be spy's..specially ones working under Xavier.

"Month ago or so my family and I were on a mission. As to what kind of mission, I can't tell you. It involved certain organizations that happened to be 10 steps ahead of us. We all got wounded badly, me the most...my brother sent to Xavier's, my family got caught and I didn't." she cleared her throat, trying to keep her emotions under control."I laid low for awhile...I wont go into detail about me being with the X-Men. My main objective is to find my family. Xavier's been helping me, he was able to find a few leads here in New Orleans. Little did I know, these leads would involve two impossible Guild's, who apparently want me or want me dead." she let out firm exhale. She'd stop talking for now, to let him digest it all and ask questions if need be.

	He considers that, taking it all in. "Ahh, yeah. The X-Men and all their secrets. Fair enough, don't much need to know why they're after you. The fact they got my attention is enough to tell me what I need to know. Curious though, guilds of New Orleans after your family. X-Men ties. Gambit's kid? "I'm certain we're not the only group with secrets." she commented. It's true, most hero type groups have some kind of secrets they'd like to keep under wraps.

"Wait, how'd you guess I was Gambit's kid? We're off the radar. Your perception is good, I'll give you that. No one knows about us...well, you do now. But beyond you? Nobody." she looked worried. Etoile went silent for awhile, it looked like she was deep in thought. In fact she was looking up information via her computer like mind. It took more concentration for her to do so, unlike her brother who could do 20 things at once, without breaking a sweat.

"This bad. Very bad...I can't sit and talk to you, Nick. Thanks for saving me. I owe you one." she moves up and away from the table, moving through the bar area heading to the door.

He grabs their food, covering it there - shame to waste good burgers, then heads after her.

"I guessed because my predecessor knew Gambit. Worked with him, knew about the whole connections thing. Thieves guild, something about assassins. And what my predecessor knew, I sort of have shared memories with. Between X-Men ties and having the guilds after you, it was a guess. It also means you're not safe here."

Etoile paused and look back towards him as he explained knowing about her, her father and everything else."Really? Well, didn't think your predecessor knew a lot about him." she said.

"Good guess, good guess." She runs her hand over her face. She knew she couldn't leave this place. Etoile had business to do here."Both Guilds have information I need, I need to extract it from them. I can't leave...but it isn't going to be easy, I can do this." she was more talking to herself, then Nick.

"I can't ask you to get involve. You've done enough for me..I appreciate it."

"I know..truth be told, I've been though much worse. You do have a point. I have no choice right now...I need to find my family." she explained with a very distressed expression.

"Would you really help me? Even though you barely know me or this situation?" she said.

"What do you mean by that? Things I don't want to see...?" she said with a confused expression on her face.

"If you told people I was with the Champions, they'd figure it out sooner or later. Especially Lyta. I'm this generation's Ghost Rider. You know, demon bounty hunter, hunts and punishes people for their sins... the demon in my brain remembers Gambit first hand. And some of the former assassins of the guild too. And he wants... someone. One of the people in the guild has gotten his name on the list.

Yes, I can help you. Because I'm going to need to hunt that person eventually anyway. But once I let the Rider out, he won't care about helping you or saving you. Just punishing the guilty... but it might be an opportunity for you."
