The Battle of Olympus
The trail eventually led the Avengers, Future Foundation and the Defenders to the other dimensional realm that served as the home of the Greek gods. They traveled to a few realms that were home to other gods only to find them destroyed and in ruins. Olympus wasn't in ruins, but it was under attack. Battle raged all around and the skies thundered and were lit up by lightning bolts.

Emily was quick, with very good reflexes. But those reflexes weren't ready to put to use if she didn't know the attack was coming. She was grabbed from behind, and she let out a yelp in pain. Her only saving grace was likely that she'd learned never to loosen her grip in a fight.

She jabbed at whatever had grasped her with the sword held by her tail, hoping she could cause it to let her go. If that didn't work, she really needed somebody to come and save her.

The creature's grip loosened, and Emily had just enough space and acrobatic skill to lift herself out of his grasp and vault away from him. Valeria's -- and thank God Valeria was here -- force field spheres rushed passed Emily and towards Whiro.

"Val!" Emily called out, elated to see her friend. She scrambled next to the blonde and turned her attention to Whiro. "This guy is really stealthy. I didn't even notice him when he grabbed me."

But she fell softly, because Franklin got her in his telekinetic grasp and removed her from Whiro's vicinity. He placed Val -- and Emily for that matter -- some distance away from them. A barrier was erected around the two to shield them from danger.

Val, I know you're not feeling well, but I need you to tell me everything you've analyzed about this guy up to this point.

He fired off another psionic blast at Whiro.

	The second psychic blast has a somewhat diminishing return as Whiro has his bearings more now. He stalks towards Franklin, reaching out to grab him. (Reply to this)(Parent)
