The Battle of Olympus
The trail eventually led the Avengers, Future Foundation and the Defenders to the other dimensional realm that served as the home of the Greek gods. They traveled to a few realms that were home to other gods only to find them destroyed and in ruins. Olympus wasn't in ruins, but it was under attack. Battle raged all around and the skies thundered and were lit up by lightning bolts.

It wasn't Mjolnir, but Svalin threw Vigfrior as a hammer at Camazotz.

Camazotz was about to gain on Toni when Vigfrior flew straight at the bat-god. Camazotz tried to fly away from it, but the sword pierced his wing, causing him to drop rapidly to the ground and colliding with a thunderous thud. However the blood-induced fury managed to get him back on his feet. He screeched in fury as the ground ripped open around them, the largest tendrils of darkness yet seen shooting out to entrap Svalin and Toni.

Toni threw up an electric force bubble around herself, trying to block off the tendrils.

Svalin's weapon returned to her hand and she used it as a sword to cut at the tendrils.

Camazotz took advantage of the distraction and charged at Svalin. As he was a god of darkness, he ran through the tendrils as easily as air. Camazotz moved to strike her with his claws,

Gron was in the mist of the battle, It was pure chaos, He saw his teammates engaging in the fight as well as other allies. He saw one creature move with grace and ease through tendrils toward one he thought familiar. He moved with all his force to try and tackle the beast. hoping to de rail it from its target.

Toni's electro bubble contracted some as the tendrils squeezed against it, before pushing back out against them.

Gron collided with Camazotz, who dug his feet into the ground to brace himself. Camazotz tries to lock Gron's arms and moves to bite at his exposed face.

The distraction was just what Svalin needed. While Camazotz was focusing on Gron-el, Svalin took a mighty swing with her hammer, aiming for Camaztoz's head.

He met his target but his target also came back with Razer sharp teeth. It was all he could do not to have the creature bite him. It was almost scary how close it got. He breathed a long sigh of relief when Svalin came in literally saving his neck. He reached for his hammer kneeling on guard. "My thanks!"

Camaztotz is driven back again by Svalin's hammer, but manages to dodge Toni's blast.

"You're doing well, but perhaps it's time to see how you fair in my world." He brings his hands together and suddenly all the darkness in the area coalesces, enveloping the entire area in absolute darkness. Camazotz chuckles, seeing perfectly well,as he takes off back into the air. His laughter echoes throughout the enclosed sphere, making determining his location difficult.

Svalin wasn't a stranger to blind fighting. She could almost still feel all the bruises and hits she took when she had been training. One couldn't rely on once sense in a fight.

She used her ears and the feel of the air currents around her to help her. She brought her sword up and waited.

his eyelids on his mask shut, he initiated his suit to pick up sonic waves and radio frequency's much like a radar to attempt to pick him up. His physical contact with him ever so briefly gave him a DNA sample. It wasn't enough to make a positive I.D on him in the dark but just enough to know when he was near.

Here, in this perfect darkness, he was at his peak. His wounds meant nothing, his reflexes, limbs, and speed strengthened.

"Now," his voice echoed unnaturally throughout the sphere. The mortal above had made a small dent in his sphere, but not enough to disrupt it. "Let's have some fun." He took flight, shooting like a rocket at Gron-El with a clawed strike aimed at his face. He doesn't take time to see if the strike hits before shooting off to kick Svalin.

Svalin couldn't see, but she did sense movement in the air. It was a bit too late as Camazotz's foot connected with her face. There was a loud crack as her nose broke. She stumbled backward.

He could see the outline of something getting close and fast, So fast that his instruments picked him up to late. he caught the scratch in his side just as he tried to dive away. He knew there was others with him. "We are in his element...we have to make his environment ours" h threw up some flares hoping it up would work...give them some advantage.

Gron's flares lit up the area around him somewhat, though the darkness seemed to feed on the light, starting to snuff it out. Toni however..it was if she burned the darkness itself as it recoiled away from her. Camazotz noted this growing threat and shot up to neutralize it. It forced him back into the light, but he got right behind Toni.

"As mortals go you shine brighter than most," Camazotz said with sinister self-assurance into her ear. He raised a claw and brought it down, aimed at her back. "but all lights eventually give to the darkness."

Svalin saw what was happening and launched herself at Camazotz. Svalin didn't want to see anyone get hurt, but if someone had to get hurt Svalin wanted it to be her and not someone else.

He saw the outline of Svalin moving toward something, When he looked over at Toni he the radar senses shut down. He moved opposite of Svalin. They where both going to close in on him cutting him off at the flank.

His hammer shot a point at the tip so he could spear the creature. He hoped his strike would hit at the same time Svalin would. Hopefully none would fall this day.

The blow knocked Toni from the air, her concentration broken and her light fading before she hit the ground. The heavy material of her jacket protected her somewhat, but it still hurt.

She hit the ground hard.

Asleif appeared beside her sister. "Sister," she said simply. "Thine arms do thee credit... but that alone shalt not win. Your presence be needed elsewhere."

She waved a hand, teleporting her sister away.

Camazotz saw Svalin coming and was prepared, at least until Asleif arrived to teleport her away.

"What is this!? An Asgardian fleeing battle!?" Camazotz's surprise was enough for Gron's attack to impale him through the stomach, driving the bat-god hurtling to the ground. Camazotz cursed as the smell of his own blood reached his nostrils. "I feasted well..during this..exercise," he said through a bloody, fang-filled smirk. "but I know when enough..is enough." Suddenly Camazotz began to disappear into his own shadow. "That does not mean I will forget this transgression." Only his head remained visible. "Keep one eye open when you sleep," he chuckles as his head disappears into the dark.
