The Battle of Olympus
The trail eventually led the Avengers, Future Foundation and the Defenders to the other dimensional realm that served as the home of the Greek gods. They traveled to a few realms that were home to other gods only to find them destroyed and in ruins. Olympus wasn't in ruins, but it was under attack. Battle raged all around and the skies thundered and were lit up by lightning bolts.

Aleron comes in just after Derek goes flying at the giant thing. Well, can't do much until his attack connects. So he waits for Derek's fist to just make contact with the thing before increasing the gravity of the fist so the damage it makes during the impact was greater.

He'd do a gravity effect on Balor once Derek wasn't in the field and the thing was in a better situation to do so.

	The combination of Atlantean strength and gravity manipulation knocked Balor to the ground. Balor lets out a yell full of rage as he tries to get back up but find it harder to do so than he expects. Having only seen Derek he try to fire some blasts from his evil eye at him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Good, that had done something. Next step, one he might need to bring into action quickly given the fact that thing still had some eye attack.

Something this big and sturdy usually meant enhanced strength. And while the obvious way of stopping something was to increase the gravity until it couldn't move, he had a feeling that this thing would be able to power through a lot. So...little finesse. As the thing is getting back up, it'll find it easier to stand.

Yes, he was lightening the gravity, and he was doing so to a point where the thing would start to float. Nice thing about opponents floating without intending to? There was nothing for them to push off against. Leaving a nice easy target for a good brawler.

Like his Atlantean ally.

	When Balor found himself floating after forcing himself up so forcefully he lashed out angrily with his club. This felt like some sort of Tuatha trick to him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

With the ducking and dodging, Derek was moving fast to avoid any blasts from that eye and not paying as much attention to other things,so when the club came, Derek had to react fast. luckily, with the lower gravity and his own physiology, it was a wing.

Still hurt, though.

"That's it, no more big stick for you, Teddy," Derek said as he went for the club, trying to rip it out of Balors hand.

Aleron keeps low and out of the way, trying to keep out of the line of sight of Balor. It was good to see his ally could take hits well, which meant he was free to focus on their opponent a little more. Aleron couldn't dole out many physical hits that'd be useful here, so he let's Derek do that while he plays manipulator on the side, trying to make things as difficult as possible for their enemy.

Focus is really what he needs now, so Aleron concentrates, seeing the club and the giant as two separate objects to manipulate. When he sees that Derrick has a grip on the club he makes his move in helping out. All of a sudden the gravity effect on Balor isn't to make him hover, no, now it's to plummet the giant to the ground as fast as he can make it happen. The club on the other hand, he lessens the gravity of, trying to help it want to slip out of the thing's hand and shoot up.

	Balor great strength allows him to keep hold of the cub when Derek grabs onto it. He tries lining up a shot on him with his evil eye but when he falls to the ground the shot goes wide. Balor roars with fury as he hits the ground and his grip on the club slackens. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The grip went a bit loose? Okay, change of tactics, get inside the clubs swing and hit this asshole square in the jaw. Derek made sure to let the guy he was fighting with with a slight mental nudge, as a hint as to what he was doing. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Aleron doesn't really need it but it was good to know his ally acknowledges he's there and what he can do. Once again, just as Derrick's fist is going to connect, the gravity on it is increased substantially. Super strength was good but a little gravity adding some oomph never hurt either. 	Balor loses his grip on the club when the punch connect sliding across the ground. Deciding he's had enough of this especially with so many of his compatriots having fled already disappear he does the same. (Reply to this)(Parent)
