The Battle of Olympus
The trail eventually led the Avengers, Future Foundation and the Defenders to the other dimensional realm that served as the home of the Greek gods. They traveled to a few realms that were home to other gods only to find them destroyed and in ruins. Olympus wasn't in ruins, but it was under attack. Battle raged all around and the skies thundered and were lit up by lightning bolts.

	Marmoo avoided the arrow quickly, and dive-bombed toward Aridis. He slashed at her; an attempt to cleave her clean in half. Meanwhile, his swarms start to take more of an interest in Ryan, as he was the most active in attempting to squash them. They began to swarm more in his direction. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

More bugs great, Ryan things to himself as he keeps an eye of the battle unfolding between Marmoo and Aridis.

With the swarms getting more intense and Ryan not liking the bug bites he had already, Ryan pulled out a charge pack from his jacket and plugged it into his staff. This electrified the ends of the staff for better bug zapping he just wasn't sure for how long though.

	She dodges by a very small margin. She takes another quick shot at Marmoo. She thinks that soon she will have to switch off to her sword as fighting moves with a bow can be very limited. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Still, even at close range, Aridis had superb skills with a bow. Though Marmoo was quick, the arrow cut along his arm as it passed. And with magical fire to boot, it was painful. In immediate frustration, he continued to slash at Aridis.

Ryan's electrical add-on to his strikes helped greatly. The swarms were dwindling faster, as it took less hits to strike down the bugs now. Granted, there were still a great many bugs left all over Olympus.

	With the swarms in the area thinned quite a bit Ryan turns towards the source of the bug problem as near as he can tell trying to figure out if there was anything he could do to help out in that fight. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He catches her along the back of her shoulder as she turns. She feels her clothing tear and a warm feeling from blood. Still that has her bear her teeth and fire off two more arrows as she works on dancing out of the way. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Two more arrows, that hit their marks. Marmoo was a little to close to dodge. The first arrow was a bit of a shocker, so the second one just slipped past his guard. Shocked, hurt, and noticing the rapid decline in allies-- Marmoo vanished; he teleported away to his own realm. While his swarms remained, they were less driven by his influence and easier to dispatch. (Reply to this)(Parent)
