Open Mic Night at the Screaming Banshee
It was Open Mic Night at the Screaming Banshee, a nightclub in new York, and open to all ages. Bands, singers and poets from all over the city were in attendance. The place was crowded, loud and the people were having fun.

Not being a music connoisseur, Ben just shrugged and looked around for someone around to order the wings with. But there was a nagging feeling that something was off, not full blown spidey sense tingling but just a slight tingle that was bothering him.

By the time he noticed the glazed eyes and blank looks the music had begun to take its hold on him. The spidey sense tingling got louder and stronger but at the same time the hypnotizing music made it seem more distant. Though the distant ringing of his extra sense at least gave hypnotized Ben a slight feeling that something was off.

	Daniel was really not into their music. They weren't bad, but they weren't good either. Then he starts feeling... tired, maybe? He's not sure what it is - other than being really bored with terrible bands. Whatever it is, he's finding he's really struggling with paying attention or wanting to do anything just at the moment. Music can only block out so much, because even the hypnotized Ben can't ignore that annoying ringing for long. Soon enough he's focusing on it, and it seems louder and louder to him, until he's so focused on it that it manages to block everything else out, even the song. Ben's hands go to his ears to try and block it out, trying to fend off what could be a terrible headache, until a part of his brain reminds him why exactly his spidey sense would be going off. Danger.

All of a sudden his head jerks up and he looks to the others and around to see what the danger could be. Only to see them all sitting there blankly while some guy went and picked pockets. Shoot. Well...had to wake them up so they could save the day right?

Another quick look around, then Ben slides under the table, kicking off his shoes and street clothes once he's there. Luckily he'd been web slinging earlier today and had the uniform on underneath. He stuffs his street clothes into Elaine's guitar case and nudges her foot, figuring she might be the easiest to get out of this if she hadn't already done so on her own.

	Processing, processing, rhythm and tone and something hitting her foot and --- somethign hitting her foot. Some just nudged her in the foot. Analyze room and it's because ... "--they're robbing the place. Daniel. Daniel." She shakes him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Playing distraction, get the others out of this," comes a whisper from under the table before Ben, now in his Spider suit, crawls out from under the table, staying out of the line of sight of the one picking pockets, before suddenly leaping onto the table nearest to him. "Wow, I know concert ticket prices are like daytime robbery but you guys really take it to a new level!" And he shot out a web line to try and nab the thieving lead singer's hands.

Guy in black and red spandex should be distraction enough he figures.

Something is going on, and something in the back of Daniel's skull is giving him a headache. He's still trying to process, figuring out exactly why he doesn't hate this music - all the more reason it went right past any defenses. The headache is definitely starting to get to him though, and... he's not quite sure what, but he's getting a feeling like that commotion nearby should be important.

He's just not quite there with figuring out why yet, though.

She sets her hands over the ears of the nearest person at the table, to dampen the sound of the music, and looks him intently in the face. "Wake. The Heck. Up," she mouths distinctly. Given that he'd expected to be discussing music, Daniel sat between the Elaine and Ellie - so easy enough to cover his ears. That's enough to shake him out of it.

"Wait... what's..."

And there's people robbing folks while the music plays. This is somehow terribly familiar.

"Oh, that's /it/. It is so Clobberin' Time!"

He smashes the table in front of him as a quick wake up call to everyone else as he rises. The music has sapped his focus enough that he's a long way from full, or even typical power, but its still plenty to shatter the wood.

	The lead member of Trojan Rabbit continued to me move around the club, robbing from the patrons. The other members continued to play the hypnotizing music. Webbing covered his hands and Duane was stopped in the middle of grabbing a guy's wallet. The other band members saw what had happened and started moving to help their bandmate.
