Open Mic Night at the Screaming Banshee
It was Open Mic Night at the Screaming Banshee, a nightclub in new York, and open to all ages. Bands, singers and poets from all over the city were in attendance. The place was crowded, loud and the people were having fun.

	The lead member of Trojan Rabbit continued to me move around the club, robbing from the patrons. The other members continued to play the hypnotizing music. Webbing covered his hands and Duane was stopped in the middle of grabbing a guy's wallet. The other band members saw what had happened and started moving to help their bandmate. So, they somehow ignored the whole table being violently shattered thing. Apparently they're really into their music - which is unfortunate, because their music isn't that good.

Daniel rushes the stage. The music has had a definite sapping effect on his will. He's not near as strong and fast as he's used to, but he's still a lot faster than any Olympic athlete.

"Stage rush time!"

	"And here I was thinking it was time from some pyrotechnics," Rufus says before throwing a fireball at one of the speakers. It might not have been as powerful a fireball as he would have wanted since the music was effecting his control. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Ladies and Gentlemen, please remain calm," Elaine announces, trying to avoid a panic by the audience as they come to awareness. "But please stay out of the crossfire, and you should probably check for your belongings, which we hope to return when the perpetrators are dealt with." Here's hoping barely being out of a trance lends a little extra calming influence to that.

The shattered table got the attention of the bartender and he picked up the phone. Duane tapped the heels of his boots and gas started coming out of his boots.

Bo turned up the volume on his keyboard and hit a high note. The sound coming from the keyboards was ear piercing and people not covering the ears or wearing earplugs, as Trojan Rabbit was doing, would be in pain.

Sheena dove out of the way of the amp now on fire.

	The piercing wail got Daniel's attention and broke his charge before he quite reached them. His momentum carries him into the stage, smashing into the front of it with more splintering wood - possibly a distraction, but not quite what he'd intended. He's still operating at quite a bit less than optimum capacity, but he's still a pretty decent little wrecking ball. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Ben let go of the web line holding Duane to send him flying at the stage and his bandmates. Unfortunately he realizes while he's sent the guy leaking gas towards the rest of his band...Daniel was also at the stage. Well...in it.

"Whoa!" He shot out webbing from both of his wrists to try and snag Daniel and pull him just out of the way of the gas. "Talk about stinking up the place guys."

	The band members scattered in different directions when Daniel crashed onto the stage. Bo moved away from the keyboards and the high pitched note stopped. The band members started running toward the back door. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Elaine had done her best to plug her ears and help take care of the bystanders, but once it let up, "Rufus. Get the fire out." Goodness, how would that look. They stopped robbery by /burning down the building./

Elaine is not her mother, particularly not in the field of battle. But she's spent years trying, in the field of athletics, to be her paternal grandfather. And a Wingfoot is not getting outrun by all of these losers.

	"Right put out the fire," Rufus says getting up. He was a lot better at starting them than putting them out. Still he reached out to the fire as he made his way over to it to contain it where it was till he could figure out something better or wait till the place's emergency fire stuff went off. 	Daniel shakes off the worst of the confusion, getting his head in the fight now that the high pitched whine has stopped. Awesome, web covering the door worked! Until he saw Rufus stamping out the fire and realized that had sorta blocked an exit in case of fire...oops. Okay so maybe he wasn't quite the best at this hero bit, he was still new after all. But that web on the door was damn good at least. Power control did not make one suddenly experienced at life saving. Well...luckily Rufus...seemed to have it under control? Hopefully?

Yeah maybe he should go help that out. Webbing was fireproof after all. So Ben leaped over to where Rufus was working. "Need any help?" He whispered and began shooting webbing around where the fire was to keep it from spreading and slowing working his way in to the center to shrink the fire further until one of them could put it out.

	The light stand catches Daniel full in the face - bending the light stand around the side of his head with a clang. For his own part, Daniel doesn't move. In his current state, that stings a good bit - but he doesn't let on. "Seriously?" he asks, eying the bent weapon, before taking a swing of his own. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
